Superb quality and design. All braille lstudents, sighted and non sighted catered for.
Delightful, superb quality and excellent design. Perfect for me as a beginner, learning to read braille. This book facilitates both younger and older students (myself falling well into the latter!) and I was so pleased at the illustrations and pleasingly laid out text. This is an enduring book that I feel I will use well into my quest to learn the language.I honestly cannot find fault with it. The text is clear, with the raised braille characters for touch, plus the dot overly for the sighted reading braille. It has everything I was looking for, to be honest and I could not be more pleased with the product.

Braille and written word makes this a good book to share
This is quite a good book for sharing facts. It enables the sighted person to be able to read along and help if the reader gets stuck.

Perfect
Bought for children in the only blind school in The Gambia. Good strong sturdy construction which will hopefully last years and help many children. Also bought the farm book and one other but these seem to be the only ones on the market. Is this all there is for children? Surely not. And what about adult braille reading material appreciating many use audio books/usb if one has access to technology.

Excellent book, very easy to feel
Almost everything in the book is raised. E.g. the human hand I have my hand on in the picture has wee pyramid shapes on it so you can feel the comparison between the size of the Goliath spider and an adult hand.I'm the "child" I bought this for, so I can't comment on what age group this good for.

Excellent value, and a superb book
We bought this for our grandson's 15th birthday. It's not easy to find good general interest Braille books for older children, and my wife thought this looked promising. When we got it, we were really impressed. The proof of the pudding, of course, will be what our grandson thinks of it.ps bought this from a Marketplace vendor rather than an Amazon own order, as it was much cheaper. The book was in perfect condition.

Interesting!
Lovely book, so informative. This was the latest book for my 8 year old and she loves it. It was the last Braille’s book that I could find for her that is age appropriate, so please make more Braille books for older children please, please, please :)

Wonderful book for learning Braille
I'm sighted and in the process of learning Braille. This book has been a godsend for that! I'm in the stage where I know the letters. But I'm still struggling to learn numbers and punctuation, and haven't gotten to shortened words and contractions yet. This book has both regular print and Braille on each page, so I can feel along as I read. (And it's easy to cover up the print and only use the Braille, when I'm ready for that.) There are lots of numbers and lots of punctuation to practice on, while words like "the" and "and" are still spelled out. The content is actually INTERESTING, too! I've learned quite a bit! And the illustrations are wonderful too, all raised so they can be felt as well as seen. (I particularly love the illustration showing how many Earths can fit into Jupiter.)
