Bought this device to handle a specific battery charging issue-maintain a charge in a motorhome battery set but have found it to be a Go To tool in my commercial truck repair shop. You can;t use it for industrial jump starting but it WILL charge a seriously weaken battery pretty fast. It's big claim to fame is its' ability to recover batteries that have been abused by keeping a low charge rate or permitting them to go completely dead (a genuine battery killer). It works on ALL types of batteries found in the commercial trade and the G26000 series has the power to charge multiple heavy duty batteries at a time, in series OR parallel without fear of damage to the charger OR the batteries. Leave it on all night or over the weekend, or all week. When you come back the batteries are topped of and cannot be overcharged due to the internal protection circuitry. It is easy to use and is fool prof when hooking it up. Hook up wrong and the machine just gives you dumb stares. I was MOST impressed when opening the box and encountering some really high quality connection hardware. The high amp cable attaching clamps are made to last, even after repeated clamping cycles. They are impossible to twist and clamp with great security. The other accessory caballing was well thought out and of equal quality. This stuff was not an afterthought, but a serious design attempt to place high quality and high performance into the hands of the buyer. Cudos to Genius for that extra effort. You can buy a battery charger at Sam's Club for $105 and it will do only two things, charge a flooded cell battery and jump start a dead car. And one of the great things about a Sam's Club battery charger is that after about 4-6 months use, you can look forward to buying another one as yours will be ready for the scrap heap.

Great for Golf Cart Batteries
I have a golf cart i use extensively through the summer. The past few years, I've brought the cart home and kept the batteries on the standard golf cart battery charger. This year, i wanted to leave my cart and just bring the batteries home. I have 6 Trojan 8-volt batteries. I called the place i purchased the cart from and they told me "no problem. Just buy a 24V charger and charge 3 batteries at a time, then switch it to the other three." I originally purchased the NOCO 7200, but it wasn't powerful enough to charge the batteries. It would try to charge for about a day, never moving off 0% charged, and then give me a error code. So i purchased this 26000 charger. I hooked it up and it worked like magic... it went from 0% to 25% charged with an hour. It then took the entire night to get it to charge to 100% and automatically turn itself off. I unhooked it, attached it to the other set of 3, and by the end of the day, those were fully charged as well. Great buy for the price.

Good Product So Far: Performs as Advertised
Very pleased so far. Was hesitant about buying due to quite a few lower ratings that I am giving the product but I attribute it to users who may not be as knowledgeable about batteries and charging. I used on on boat batteries, a D8 and two group 31 starting batteries. All were at 2 volts or 0 volts. The jump feature worked well enabling the batteries to get to a voltage high enough for the charge cycle to take begin. Took 2 jumps for the 0 volt D8 to come back to life. It does take longer to charge the batteries such that all lights are lit solid than I would have expected but it must due to the algorithms for maintaining charge. These batteries are on the boat and in the cold in RI so will have to see how well they stay charged. From a customer service standpoint I contacted NOCO 3 times asking questions before and after purchase. One time I got the tech on first try, second time via an email but it took a week to get a reply (with an apology through) and third call I left a voice mail and they called me back within 36 hours. Overall not bad and all techs were knowledgeable and from the States. No 4th world call center people.

4 stars for actual product, subtracted one star due to the moronic nature of the user manual.
The unit itself works well enough, though it is quite a leap of faith when you hook it up and try the 16 volt desulfation mode for the first time.. The user manual is written very poorly, leaving much to be assumed or guessed/hoped for by the user , for instance it says "5.) when finished, PRESS the MODE button three (3) times to exit the 16v BOOST mode and return the battery charger to STANDBY mode." Now herein begs the question for the first time user, it claims to be fully automatic, if so, why would I have to manually exit this mode? Does this mean that I have to monitor it? When I am charging a 400Ah battery bank that cost me almost 2k, I do not want to have to guess. Does it start at 16 volts and hold it there? does it start somewhere else and work its way up to 16volts (it does or did in my case after watching it for several hours with a volt meter attached .....) Needless to say I was extremely worried the next morning, but it worked out OK in the end. however a slightly better written manual would have totally alleviated these concerns. Something to think about NOCO. I think, that the manual was probably written for customers with a very low level of knowledge of batteries and electricity in general. However most of the customers that are willing to shell out 2-300 dollars for a charger, are probably a little more informed than Joe six pack. Instead of printing a manual with a 109 pages of which only 30 some odd are in English, and contain more cutesy marketing blurbs than actual information, try one with one language (the one for the country you are selling that particular model in), and add things, like the actual target amperage in each of the bulk modes, actual expected voltages and or specific gravity that the charger is looking for prior to changing modes, ie the amperage fo the 4 different bulk stages and then the absorption to float stages. these would be of more interest to me as I could compare this unit apples to apples against my solar chargers, my inverter chargers, and other systems that are in place on my RV.

Noco Genius 2600 Noco genius 26000 was well packaged, very strong, reliable cables and the delivery was very fast (arrived before specified time). Baptist distribution staffs, seller from who I bought were very friendly. I made exhaustive search and research before I decided to buy. What I wanted was a reliable battery charger and maintainer/repairer and this product fits that criteria. It is like all in one, works for 12V, 16V and 24V batteries. I only used to charge and repair, 12V battery of my Nissan Murano whose battery was dead when it arrived and my other small car batteries. Both batteries were restored back to their original new state. As winter is not yet around, I did not use to boost battery. I have no regret for buying it as it saved me from paying close to 500 dollars for two new batteries. A word of caution: When you first connect it to AC power, it gives orange light on the on/off button and stays there. When you try to use mode button, it alternates between supply mode and power button only. This is explained in the manual but hard to figure out. I bought one and returned back thinking it was defective, but it was not. I contacted support centre and they tried to explain it to me. For it to sense your car battery, once connected, you have to jump start your battery for a cycle of 5 minutes, and that will raise(boost) your battery voltage and noco will be able to sense it. If not done with on jump start cycle, repeat second one after few minutes and that will make noco sense your battery. Definitely, it is not defective but how it is made. After that process every time you connect it sense the battery quick and you can switch between mode options. Good side: 1. Quick delivery 2. Well built and strong reliable cables 3. No need to worry about reverse polarity 4. No need to worry about over charging 5. Very compact to put anywhere in engine compartment with ease 6. As it remembers where it has stopped, there is no need to worry about lose of power or disruption in the connection. 7. Can be left connected permanently for care and maintenance without any fear of overcharging. Down side: 1. It is expensive 2. Cannot be used without AC power 3. Has limited or no accessories compared to earlier noco products 4. The cables are short and need to rely on extension cables which affects charging time if not of same AWG with noco’s cable 5. There is no way of using available accessories interchangeably between products of noco. My suggestion: Please make available, accessories compatible with this product. In the future, think of making available a product like this which can be turned on and used where there is no AC power source. Portable chargers are needed where there is no AC power source and this one does not serve that purpose. All in all: Having looked at other products and comparing with them, I consider this product to be superior. This product deserves 5 stars. Very good and reliable product and I will definitely recommend it to potential customers. I am not sure how long it survives but for now I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Excellent for charging batteries. I bought this for the large AGM trunk battery in my Mercedes. I have a smaller trickle charger rated at 5 amps, which was unable to charge the large battery. The G26000 is rated at 26 amps for charging an AGM battery, so caution is necessary to unhook the cars terminals before charging. The clamps supplied can be removed from the charging harness and connected directly to the battery terminals. The harness has a quick disconnect to be able to connect/disconnect the charger when needed. Review the Genius website for correct accessories, as I bought a harness extension on Amazon Canada which was not compatible, and I had to return it. The heavy wire charging harness with clamps supplied is rated for 40 Amps and require special heavy wire harnesses. Check the Genius website for correct accessory numbers to order from Amazon if needed, as some of the accessories for the charger on Amazon are not listed correctly.

I bought this charger for my RV battery bank. It is a great charger with lots of features. It was missing a cord and after calling Noco the sent me a new one. Only problem was that they sent me the wrong cord, then wouldn't respond to my emails any longer. I gave up and jury rigged something.

Excellent! I own both a 7200 and a 26000. They work as advertised. They both are picky about the setting, though. I.e. charging a cold battery, one has to select 'AGM/cold" or it won't do. The 26000 is mounted as an on board charger in an RV to replace the original converter. Works like a charm! Under load (appliance running while charging) it becomes a bit noisy. But not as loud as the OEM converter used to be. Charges my 400 Ah AGM battery bank for almost 6 years now. Batteries are still fine. Charger still works. Plugged in whenever we are home (200+ days a year).

Seems to be a good charger. Cables are not designed for cold weather. After 15 minutes outside at -35 celsius I noticed the insulation on the wires split and bare wires. It's a fire hazzard, cables needs to be improved to a more flexible material.
