Great to try smoking
Giving it 5 since this is my first smoker. Needed some lava gaskets for better smoke retention, the item needs to be tightened from time to time and the thermometer is not the most precise, but that's all bad I can say. This bad boi helped me smoke my first ribs and it was so good I felt in love with smoking since. I have also an Armenian style BBQ grill from a friend of mine that I use to BBQ full time for speed, but now I love to occasionally use this one to add a smoky flavor for my quick cooks as well. Great introductory item for smoking beginners

Awesome grill, wonderful set up
The assembly was easy, I had it out of the box and ready to use in half an hour. And the split grate made firing it up a breeze. We used it immediately for a trio of t-bones and they came out perfect. And we can't wait to smoke a brisket on it

Quality Grill
You’ll have a hard time finding a more quality grill in this price range. There are lots of parts though. It took a a little over 2 hours for this senior citizen to build.

Product is flimsy, however i purchased it for my son who is heading to post high school Culinary . The gauge isn't functioning after we assembled it. Trying to smoke 200 dollars worth of freshly bought butcher meats and can't monitor the temp. The return suggestions in Amaxon was a 39 dollar refund if I keep it or return it. Fortunately I still have the box and will definitely disassemble it and rush it back. I am using my thermometer we use for Thanksgiving to attempt to not completely lose out.
