Cool retro record player that delivers quality sounds
I bought this retro record player for my 16 year old son for Xmas, as he fancied collecting vinyls. I based my decision by reading other reviews, on the design and the look, plus being good value. We have not been disappointed. This is a great record player, compact, with nice aesthetics, and produces clean and clear sounds. The option to listen through headphones is useful. The protective lid is robust, and made from clear plastic so you can still the player in action. As an addendum, due to an accident at home the plastic lid was unfortunately smashed and left beyond repair. I contacted Fydee, the seller, to see if I could get a replacement. Their response was amazing, coming back to me really quickly and offering a replacement. The two colleagues who emailed me could not do enough to rectify the issue, fantastic customer service!

wood‑finish turntable for vinyl lovers
I’ve been rediscovering my record collection with this beautifully crafted player, and it’s become the centerpiece of my living room. The smooth wood surface adds warmth, while the dust cover keeps everything pristine between listens. Switching between 33, 45, and 78 RPM is simple, and I never worry about warping or skipping thanks to the reliable belt drive. The built‑in speakers deliver surprisingly rich sound straight out of the box, but I can also plug in my favorite amp via the RCA outputs for a deeper audio experience. Bluetooth streaming lets me switch to playlists on my phone in seconds, so I’m never without music. I appreciate having multiple inputs and outputs at my fingertips, making this turntable a hub for both analog and digital sources. Setup took minutes—just level the deck and plug in—and it has run faithfully ever since. For anyone who values classic vinyl warmth alongside modern flexibility, this player hits the sweet spot.

Awful…
I’ve had this for 6 months now, and I’ve tried to give it a chance. But after a lot of research I’ve come to the conclusion: this is awful.I bought this as I wanted to start collecting vinyl. I bought 2 of my favourite albums on vinyl at the same time. Both of them sound awful on this.Looked into it, and this uses a generic mechanism that all cheap players have - made in China to very cheap specifications. The speakers are the most tinny sounding speakers I’ve ever heard. It LOOKS nice, but that’s not what you’re looking for.And yes, £50 is cheap for a record player, but it’s still £50. Not exactly money I’m happy to throw away…So yeah, don’t buy this.

Great sound
So happy with this record player I can now play ally old records that were stored in the attic. Set up was easy as the unit has everything you need built it and the sound quality is good for the price. It's a very compact unit so it doesn't take up much space on my side board. Overall it if a good price for anyone thinking about giving vinyl a try or if you want to hear your old records .

Quirky record player + trustworthy seller
I bought this item ahead of Christmas so I could finally start listening to the many decorative vinyl records family/friends had bought me over the year. I did not want to spend too much money as wasn't sure if vinyl music was a lifestyle for me so the price point of this item was very attractive. The item arrives and it is very pleasant and quirky to look at. The record player mechanism is spring-attached which may give the initial impression it is not fully attached- but I am assured by the retailer this is by manufacture design. The sound quality is impressive for the price point and I do not foresee any issues with durability.

Auto stop fails to finish playing 45 rpm records every time
The media could not be loaded. The sound is good, our old 60's & 70's records play really well. However, the plastic cover that comes separately & has to be fitted, doesn't quite slide down onto the pegs, although not a big problem. The volume range is good at the top end but can't be turned down to a satisfactory level for us when we don't want certain records to be so loud. The volume knob just doesn't allow sufficient graduation at the bottom end of the range. The most annoying feature is the Auto Stop - the needle just stops on the record before the music has finished & the playing arm doesn't return automatically to the base point. So the enjoyment of listening to a record is spoilt by an abrupt ending. If this had been mentioned in other reviews, I wouldn't have bought it. Otherwise OK for the price.Update: Seller has replaced the record player free of charge - excellent service. The lid now fits correctly but the other problems remain - using Auto-Stop function, with most 45s (about 1 in 4 or 5 plays to the end), the player still stops abruptly before the end of the record - see video. Without using Auto-Stop, the record plays right to the end but then you have to be there to raise the playing arm off the record so that's what I'll do in the future.
