Great product
Great price and easy to use. A premixed handy pkt with 4 to 6 servings depending on taste and strength that you like. Easy to make with the recipe and required ingredients on the rear or inside box for those using it for the first time. Shan masala mixes are great to use and ready to use straight from the packet and will keep in the cupboard. Handy when relatives visit unannounced and saves you getting the grinder out.

The most delicious dhal I have ever cooked
My sister in Abu Dhabi recommended this to me. I used fava beans and dhal and after about 50 minutes I had the most delicious flavoured beans that I have ever cooked! I enjoy spicy food so I also added a whole chilli and found the spice just right for me. I used about 3 teaspoons of curry powder.

Have been using Shan spices for a while now and can’t fault. It was so good to be able to purchase on line at such a good price as it is hard to find this excellent product in local grocery stores

High salt content!!
I wouldnt have purchased had I known about the salt content. 62percent is a joke really. If you use a tablesspoon, you are using more tha the daily recommended amount. For people with hypertension its beyond dangerous.
