Amazing results!
I have a gaming laptop that is 4 years old and was biting 75c while idle so I changed the thermal paste and got this and now she sits around 35-40c while playing shows or movies and goes to 55-60 when gaming. The laptop will heat up to 70-90c if gaming without the cooling pad so it shows this cooling pad is amazing.

Works well
Fan is quiet at full power. I wish there was a port for ejecting heat other than through the laptop. Regardless it works incredibly well

Cool
The led lighting scheme is retentive, as in I pick the light pattern I want, when power goes off and comes back on I don’t need to select the light pattern again. For the fan speed control the control is not retentive. I can’t put it in high speed then have it start on high the next time, each time I have to push the button 6 times when I start the computer. This is a pain and I figure the button will wear out due to this. So far the button is fine after a few months but we shall see.I like that with in usb cable that can connect to the laptop I can power this thing. I don’t need another ac adaptor and cable, just the sub from the laptop. The seal could fit the MSI raider a little better, if I matching things perfect the laptop sits over the buttons which would make me need to lift the front each time, which would ruin the foam seal over time. This why retentive fan speed would be better. On slow speed some air moves, it would be nice at this speed for productivity work, nothing graphically challenging. The built in air filters would help reduce fan cleaning intervals. At this low speed when the fans for the MSI raider ramp up to cool the cpu and th 4090 graphics the pc will actually overheat, this is worse than no cooling pad in this situation. Kick the speed up to max and the laptop runs much cooler with all that power draw. For my Raider the hot air exhausts mostly out the sides. I like that the suction has additional plates to limit hot air intake for laptops exhausting out the back. I like that the suction ports are in the back instead of the bottom. This allows it to sit on my lap and me not to worry about placement for suction. To me the thing on max really didn’t that noisy while sitting on my lap.I really like this unit. It is great. The reason I knock off a star is if they could make the led remember the setting they could/should have made the settings.

Do it. Get it. You won't be sad you did.
Yes!!! Absolutely works well! Will update if it fails, but so far, keeps all out very hard working gaming laptops cool as a fall breeze off the lake. And the lights aren't bad, either! I was surprised how nice they are because normally they're too much!

Hey you stay cool!
I recently acquired an Asus TUF Gaming laptop and installed a secondary Kingston SSD, which does not feature an integrated heat sink. Under typical operational conditions using only the laptop’s internal cooling system, the SSD maintains an average temperature of approximately 65°C. However, utilizing an external cooling pad reduces this temperature significantly by approximately 23°C.Upon completion of tasks and prior to transportation, the underside of the laptop remains notably cool due to the effectiveness of the cooling pad. This cooling accessory includes adjustable fan speed controls and various RGB lighting configurations. The primary advantage observed is the provision of a stable, comfortable, and thermally efficient platform that consistently maintains optimal operating temperatures for my laptop.

I was a little disappointed with the KLIM Everest Laptop Cooling Pad
Hey all, I own a 17-inch Dell Alienware x17 R2; and I was a little disappointed with this KLIM Everest Laptop Cooling Pad. With all the air that this thing can push (and it’s a lot) I thought it would keep my laptop a lot cooler than the 5-year-old one that I was trying to replace...nope...On the CONS side:1. Somehow, it DID NOT cool better than my old one. My laptop ran cooler with the old one. I don't know if that had anything to do with the foam fitting that comes with it, but it looks small like maybe the entire air intake on the bottom of the laptop might not be fitting inside the foam to get all the air.a. (in speculation) if the pads fans are not blowing into the laptops bottom intakes then maybe its actually stopping them from pulling in air? other pads are blowing air from the bottom straight up at the laptop. This pad is looks like its pushing air from back to front ACCROSS the laptops intakes...2. also, I didn't like the foam because it lets the computer slide down and move when I touch it. Sometimes I rest my wrists or hands down on the computer while I'm working or gaming and the foam allows the computer to dip and tilt around.3. The Air-intakes on this cooling pad are located adjacent to (like right under) the computers rear heat exhaust vents. So is this cooling pad actually pulling the hot air right back into the machine? A little maybe…?4. The legs on this cooling pad:a. can give you some serious elevation but I don’t know how a large laptop is supposed to stay on this thing without falling off if you put the legs to the highest setting.b. The legs don’t actually LOCK in place; if you have to move or lift the computer for a moment you have to make sure you put both legs back into place or the whole thing can just might fall over.c. don’t have very WIDE AND GRIPPY rubber boots so it can more easily move around on a table top.5. There’s no flip up blocking retainers to stop the computer from sliding forward on this cooling pad.Sorry...$62 bucks...not sorryOn the PROS side:a. this unit pushes A LOT OF AIR and if it puts it in the right place this thing might keep any laptop cooler than anything else. and the 6 power settings for the fan are good.b. And I like the foam pieces inside this cooling pads intake channels they will eliminate dust from being thrown back into the laptop.c. I Don't NEED but I like the lighted color changing thing
