Does the job.
I got this because I had two lines not working on the back window of my car. It came with both a repair kit for the the printed lines on the windows and a glue kit for the tab that connects the printed elements to the electrical system. In my case the lines were not working but the break wasn't a gap in the line. Instead you could see where it was discolored on the outside of the window. I used the kit an painted it in, and saw that it had filled in the discolored spot. After letting it dry I tested it out and my the two formerly non working lines worked again. Others comment the color doesn't match. True enough, but it does do the job. I used Frog Tape to keep my lines clean when I painted them on. I thought I didn't need the tab glue but then my Jeep's rear defrost wasn't working at all. It turns out the tab had fallen off. I didn't have an ideal connection point for gluing it back but I cleaned it up followed the instructions and glued the tab back on. After that the defrost on the jeep worked. For me that was a nice bonus since I hadn't gotten the kit for the tab repair. The photo shows one of my repairs. I taped wide intentionally due to the kind of discontinuity in that spot. That may or may not have helped with the repair. Overall it seems expensive but it works.

It Works!
I was skeptical that this would work as described since it had so many mixed reviews. I found the reviews a little deceiving as this is actually two separate repair solutions in one kit. One of the solutions (the one I did not use) is to re-attach a broken "tab" that connects the main power line to the defrost grid. The other solution is the grids themselves. This product worked well for bridging broken grid lines back together. I used blue painters masking tape rather than the one (1) supplied mask since I had several breaks on five different grid lines to repair. I followed the instructions to a tee and the conductive paint worked great. There was enough in the small bottle for my seven breaks with a little left over. After 30 minutes I removed the masking tape and after another 24 hours I ran the defogger to test it. I could feel with the back of my fingers that each individual grid line was now heating up. The most difficult part was placing the masking tape on the window such that there was a small enough spacing for the grid lines. My window is angled and hard to reach the furthest grid lines toward the back. With some patience I was able to get it. The color of the paint is slightly lighter than the original grid material but not noticeable from the inside of the car. It is slightly more noticeable from the outside, but to me still worth it to have a functioning defogger again. I am more careful now when cleaning the back window to (hopefully) not disturb the repairs. I can't speak to how long the repairs will last and will update this review if I start to see failures.

Wouldn’t buy again, going to try something else
Bought this in April and just getting around to using it in Oct. Did everything per the instructions, mixed the adhesive for well over 5 mins and it never turned the beige color it was supposed to. Kept mixing, no change, went ahead and used it anyway and then held the tab in place for 5 mins even though it suggested 1, It didn’t adhere. I do not see an expiration date on the packaging so I’m not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Product works as advertised. Paint it on to repair damaged defogger wires. Good as new (almost) with a bit of time and care.
Product works. Had glue residue on my rear window and foolishly used a razor blade to scrape it (and several inches of 5 or 6 defogger wires) off the rear window. Didn't realize they were silk-screened on. Oops! The stencil included in the package is limited. Use good quality masking tape, leaving only the area to paint exposed. Be sure to press tape hard against the window, otherwise the paint will run underneath the tape, making for messy/wide lines, as happened to me. Paint and repeat as per the instructions. When you remove the tape, the area can be cleaned using a razor or box cutter -- VERY gently scrape toward the lines (the flat part of blade parallel to the flat part of the painted on lines). It's very delicate work, but if you do it carefully, you'll hardly be able to tell it was repainted. Color is slightly more "orange" than the factory silk screened on wires, so it doesn't look perfect. But if you don't know to look for it, you won't see it. I can now defog the entire window again (although the area I painted actually gets hotter than the rest, so it defogs first). My glass has not exploded, as per another review. I see no reason why glass would from using the product, unless it simultaneously had a rock thrown through it. Significantly cheaper than new glass. With a little care and effort, almost good as new.

Use a meter to find the break, repair, recheck your work. Drive with clear back window.
I just received my package and everything looks fine. I used the stuff and it seems to be pretty good. Careful not to spill the little bottle of liquid. I chose to use a tiny brush and will use a rasor blade to trim the excess on my heater wires on back window. The stuff dries to a very hard paste, so it should hold up. Some people have also taken fingernail polish and put a single coat to ptoyrect the work. I have yet to turn on the defrosters, but I have faith it will work.

Easy peasy!
I accidentally scraped through a trace on the rear defogger of my F150 trying to remove a sticker the parts supplier stupidly stuck right over a line, and the dealership, equally stupidly, did not remove upon receipt. The brief time on the lot in the hot sun turned the adhesive to stone that nothing would dissolve. Permatex to the rescue! The kit comes with everything you need, and the instructions are well-written and easy to follow - even in the tight confines of the back of a pickup cab. The repair blends right in and, so far, everything seems to work just fine!

Worked well. Used it to reattach a heater grid tab back onto the window. Have to remember to use the area of the window with conductor still present. The tab broke off and took some of the conductive surface with it. Glued the tab in another spot.

Todo correcto, fácil de usar y en principio soluciona el problema que tenía, el corte de las líneas del desempañador trasero del coche. Por ponerle un pero, el botecito es muy pequeño, trae la cantidad justa para una reparación básica y poco más...
