Lumitronics RV LED-Euro Style Porch Light - Amber Lens (Chrome)

First of all:: If your idea of quality includes metal -- you'll be disappointed, because there is no metal in this light fixture.Second:: Metal corrosion is the biggest contributor to light failure! So if you can readily grasp new (better) ideas, you'll like this light fixture!This "all plastic" light is incredibly easy to install and seal; Using regular clear silicone around the screw holes and edges makes this great fixture weather-proof.I have a '96 Bounder class A and couldn't find the keyhole on my door until I bought this light -- and I actually got two lights for the price of any other comparably performing product. Excellent field of illumination without overwhelming the neighbors.

Stock, amber outside lights on RVs suck. Part of the reason is the amber lens. This light is very bright and covers more area outside the RV. If you are in close quarters with another RV, they might not like how bright this is, shining in their windows. We never leave ours on all night as some do. This unit is larger than the stock rectangle units, so it will cover the old one's place just fine. You will need to pre-drill new mounting holes for the screws. Took all of 15 min. to install. Make sure you put a bead of exterior grade caulk on the top seam of the light so water won't sneak down, behind the fixture.

I like the sturdy plastic and Eningeering. It comes in three parts. The base, the lense and the colored cover. The base plate kind of warps a little when you tighten down on the screws but the lense Is very sturdily built that once the lens is installed and screwed into place, the whole structure takes on a very rigid and solid state. The bezel cover snaps on very snuggly so much so that I don’t believe it will blow off on the highway. It comes with screws. Very nice product.

This item was purchased used but in good condition with only cosmetic defects. The problem may have been caused by the original purchaser or during initial assembly. Unfortunately I was not able to inspect it upon arrival because we had already left on our RV trip. We just returned and I discovered the problem when installing the unit. The gasket is misaligned and scrap insulation is trapped in the seal area. Regardless of when the defect occurred, Amazon shipped a defective product which is no longer weatherproof.

Bought two of these lights to replace the original porch and utility lights on our 2005 Fleetwood Pacearrow. I have been replacing the yellow lenses about once a year as they get brittle and break. This product is simple and was an easy install. The only thing I can see that would be better would to provide self tapping screws as opposed to the wood type screws that were provided. Other than that very happy !!!

The light is great looking, very bright. It looks great on our motorhome which is older. I really liked the chrome trim, but one of the tabs on mine was broken. I have tried glueing it on ,so I haven't traveled down the road yet to see if it will stay or fall off. I didn't bother returning it just because of the price I paid for it versus shipping it back. So I do like it, but was broken when I got it.

The light fixture is awesome, great design. The LED lamp is bright white, looks great!! The mounting design is not spectacular... it need to have a recessed stand-off ring on the back to accommodate the wiring.

Large size compared to others help cover up a mess left from previous RV owners attempt to replace OEM light. This light looks great and lighting is perfect.

Very well done porch light. Even dropped before installation, but works flawlessly. Great product! Just enough light at night.

Was looking to just replace the LED bulb but this was cheaper. Working great.
