Good little kit
For the price this is a great little kit. Worked to help me replace connectors on several broken ethernet cables. I prefer the connectors that have tracks in them to keep them in place as you put them together, and I don't like that these push through, however the cutter actually cuts them to length if you push them through.

Great kit!
This is a really good kit. The crimp works very well and the snips are a VERY comfortable size.

Patience grasshopper...
The crimping tool was straightforward once I understood how it worked. The pass-through design is excellent, as I found that if I took a cable and cut back about 0.75"-1", I could untwist the 23 GA wires and get everything straight. That's the part that takes the longest. Once each wire is straightened, you should be able to slide the wire into the plug and go through the end. Then, I cut back just enough so that only a small portion sticks out from the crimp tool. Grip the handle hard a few times, and it's done. I used the blue sleeve provided to lessen the stress on the cable. When you open the box, it's also set for the CAT 7 so if you're working with CAT 5/6, move the plate so the small Phillips screw is sitting across from the CAT 5/6 label. After I accidentally crimped on the CAT 7, I only discovered that it worked with the tester until some didn't test correctly. The CAT 5/6 plate needs to be crimped deeper, so that solved the issue. There's an orange cable sleeve cutter that works amazingly well. I used the first tab for the CAT 6 cable, and you only need to rotate it twice for a clean cut without cutting into the foil and the wires. Don't do 3-4 times as it will damage the wires I found out.The manual is straightforward, and I made all the cables with the modern 568B pattern, with the dashed orange on the very left and the pins facing you (tab on the bottom). Using a 500' roll of cable and what felt like hours, everything came up on the DVR with a screen, and I could finish the installation.Side note: If you use this for security cameras, use the shielded (blue or silver foil) twisted cable. I used the shielded and twisted 23 GA cable. Otherwise, you could get low-grade quality images if there is no interference, which may look like there's something wrong with the system. If you're new to making cables, it's not complicated. You must be patient; there's no fast way to make these cables.

Pretty good value for the money but there's better products out there for sure.
It's a pretty good tool but the blade isn't very sharp and doesn't cut cleanly every time so I have to manually cut it then exacto knife the rest of it off but they always test out perfectly. I use this tool in a professional setting but don't like using the boot cover as they can cause problems sometimes and the tester that comes with this is kind of cheap but does the job. It's definitely worth the money. I might modify the cutting blade but it works pretty good. Wastes a bit of time but not too bad.

RJ45 plugs on Cat 6 cable
Tools work great. It just takes time nothing you can rush through based on wire sizes which has nothing to do with tools provided. All items seem to work, this is my first time doing this so just take your time. It helps to have really good eyes and steady hands trying to get 8 flimsy wires into holes you cant see is crazy.

Item Was Used
The Box was torn opened, and the crimper had a lot of scratches on it, it appeared to be used or a returned item. I paid for a new Item but i didn't get what I paid for. This was eventually shipped to Jamaica and I have no way of returning it. I like when sellers are honest and sell what people pay for. The crimper Is tiny as you can see compared to my mouse and screwdriver and I tried to crimp a RJ45 with it and it doesn't crimp. At least i got a cable tester and some ends out of it. I still need to get a Nine Volt battery to test the cable tester. It's a poor quality item, I could have gotten the same thing on AliExpress for like $10.I need a refund!!!

Excelente
Pensé que era más grande pero no lo digo de mala manera, su tamaño lo hace ideal para transportarlo y poncha muy bien y tiene cuchillas de repuesto, muy contento con el producto:) solo un pero las luces del probador de cable son un poco tenues de resto bien
