Versatile, yet small and sturdy for my mobile video stand
Needed something like this as I have a mobile video stand on wheels to move around. I wanted to mount my smartphone to use as a video camera/webcam (used a gorilla pod for it, but wasn't sturdy when wrapping it around other arms) and been researching for good clamps. Then I stumbled upon this clamp by Neweer, with options between the moving ball head or magic arm. I picked the latter one.Quick unbox and mount in less than 2 minutes. The phone mount's spring is a little too strong for opening, but good thing I swapped it with another smartphone mount by Amazon Basics that was equally sturdy. Not even too big to stick out and color blends nicely with the overall color of the stand as if it was a bundled accessory.

Solid and stable
Solid stable mount. Quality parts, quality workmanship. Not cheap junk. It will hold its position very well. I put about 50lbs or so of force on the mount before it started to move. It will hold your camera in place very well.

Great for laser-levels
I use this to clamp a laser-level to a spring-mounted post (think zip-wall), to guide me when mounting items on walls. The clamp is easy to setup and easy to adjust.

Seems very sturdy.
Some users might find the lack of ⅜-16 socket a deal-breaker. It isn't a problem for me.The clamp strength is good, and the swiveling extensions for the clamp arms are great for holding the clamp on a flat surface. Excellent design there. Those extensions don't provide a large surface area for gripping. If I use the clamp for flat surfaces I'll probably add a thin rubber pad on either side to increase friction. (Strips of Dycem might be even better.)Some dimensions not shown in the product illustrations:Clamp fully opened, hinged extensions "deployed" and their two pads parallel: max. clearance is 1⅜″.Clamp fully opened, himged extensions swung out of the way: max. clearance is 1⅞″.Clamp fully closed, hinged extensions swung out of the way: max. clearance is ½″.One odd thing, and a possible point of failure after many uses: one of the ¼-20 sockets is drilled VERY close to the edge of the clamp, leaving only a tiny amount of metal there. See photo.I'd attach only something very lightweight at that location, and only if it wouldn't be subject to any stress. The included ballhead is definitely light-duty, but should be adequate for lightweight accessories. I had to fiddle with positioning a bit so that I could keep its tightening knob clear of the clamp housing.Overall: nice product and especially when on sale!

More Versatile Than My Uncle at a Family Reunion!
Let me tell you about the Super Clamp with 3" Dual Ballhead Magic Arm—the gadget that has turned my chaotic filming setup into a well-oiled machine! This clamp is like the Swiss Army knife of the photography world, ready to hold anything from a light to a sandwich (not that I’d recommend that, but hey, no judgment here).First off, the grip on this thing is stronger than my determination to finish a pint of ice cream in one sitting! Once you clamp it down, it feels like it’s locked in for a long-term relationship. My gear isn’t going anywhere—no wobbling, no slipping, just rock-solid stability. I can now point my camera at a squirrel doing yoga without fearing my entire setup will topple over and ruin the shot! The dual ballhead is a game changer. It’s like giving my camera a flexible yoga instructor, allowing me to adjust angles effortlessly. Whether I want to capture a breathtaking sunset or a dramatic close-up of my cat plotting world domination, this clamp has me covered. I feel like a cinematographer ready to shoot the next blockbuster with how easily I can position my gear.Plus, the cold shoe attachment? Genius! I can now mount my microphone, light, or whatever else I can think of without the hassle of jerry-rigging things together like I’m on an episode of “Survivor: Filmmaker Edition.” Just pop it on, and I’m ready to roll!If you want to up your photography or videography game and keep your gear secure while you do it, this Super Clamp is a must-have. Just be prepared for your friends to start calling you “The Clamp Master” and expecting you to produce Hollywood-level content out of your garage!

Such a cool addition to the camera bag.
I'll start with the negative first. It's just a bit too bulky but it's a good thing because it is extremely well made. Other than that this item is almost a must for every camera bag. There's just some shots you can't get with a tripod and this helps you be a little bit creative and your angles and it has slots for two different cameras which lets you record both directions at the same time or different angles at the same time. Honestly I use this more than my tripod and it does have places to mount a microphone as well. A solid buy for the price.
