GE WD28X10128 Genuine OEM Silverware Basket (Grey) for GE Dishwashers

Cheaper dishwashers don't come with baskets that have flatware dividers. With this basket, flatware is cleaned much more thoroughly. Large and spacious.

I wanted to replace 2 disintegrating baskets in my Whirlpool dishwasher. This replacement is roughly the measurement of the 2 combined baskets. They fit perfectly, and are MUCH more stable and convenient. You'll love it!

It is a good shaped item. Holds a lot of silverware without taking up a lot of room in my dishwasher.Sturdy for my purposes.Glad I got it.

I have a 22 year old Kenmore Elite dishwasher (yes it still works great) and needed to replace the silverware basket. This basket fits it perfectly. Love the gray. Doesn't seem quite as study as my old one was, but for the price it's great. Exact measurements are: on the top of the basket - length 19 5/8", width 3 3/4", height from bottom of basket to top of handle 8 1/2" .....on the bottom of the basket: length 19", width 3 1/8", height from bottom of basket to bottom of cutout for handle 6 1/2". There are lips around the top. That is what the difference in measurement is.

Fits perfectly! Old one had deteriorated and silverware would slip through. Wasn't sure what to do and this was perfect.

Needed a replacement because the previous homeowner was not kind to the silverware basket. This basket fit into our Maytag dishwasher perfectly. The slots make it very easy for my family to load the silverware without them getting stuck together. Or you can remove the slot covers all together (there are 3 total). My one complaint is that the plastic latches on the slot covers are pretty flimsy and can break or snap off very easily. Other than that this has been a great purchase for the price.

Got this for our 12-year-old dishwasher, old one had plastic parts that came off after all the use, new one was exactly the same and will outlast the dishwasher.

Product arrived broken in a massive, well padded, undamaged box. Obviously picked, packed and shipped in a damaged condition by the Amazon staff. Not acceptable customer service on the part of Amazon! Should have been rejected at the center and replaced prior to shipping and not needing to be returned by the customer. Other than broken, the product appears to be suitable for what is needed. 4 stars for quality, 2 stars deducted for Amazon Service.

The measurements are not accurate. Here is what I measured. Length 50cm (19-5/8 inch), Width 9.6cm (3-3/4 inch), Height without handle 14.3cm (5-1/2 inch), Height with handle 21.5cm (8-5/8 inch).Fit my Kenmore Dishwasher almost perfectly (Ultra Wash model). I read other reviews of GE WD28X10128 from other vendors. Many people said it fits Kenmore. I assume it works for most models.The shape is a waste of space at the corners. I cannot imagine what GE models would do with those triangle areas.

Fits a Kenmore Elite dishwasher but took a star off because, as other reviews have mentioned, the bottom slats are very thin and dropping butter knives onto them will eventually break them. I cut up parts from the old utensil basket and lined the bottom of the new tray to keep the bottom as protection.Will see how the basket holds up under daily dousing of soap.

the first silverware tray i ordered didn't come with any tops so i sent it back the second one i ordered the latch to hold the top down was broken with frustration i just kept it because i needed a cutlery tray for my dishwasher definitely not worth the money i spent but at least i have a tray for my cutlery

I was a little concerned when I saw the potential cancer warning sticker on the box. I went back an looked at the ad to see if it was there and the warning was in there. I can only assume it's made pre-bpa and in California they require a warning to be on anything made with it in it. Otherwise a solid basket.
