I used 2 of these to replace defective 9v battery clips inside Fan remote controls. The fan remote that came with a controller as well as a replacement remote for it both had faulty wire connectors going to the 9v battery. I just took the board out and soldered a replacement connect on there from this 10pk here, and wow the remotes now work great. These are very good sturdy battery connectors and wires. Attached is a picture of the replacement battery connectors as they came in a zip lock bag for storage.

They work very well. I am totally satisfied. These hard shell connectors are much better and will last longer than the soft shell ones do.

These are pretty good, better than the flimsy ones you find elsewhere that are difficult to apply and remove from the battery. These battery plugs are made of a sturdy plastic that doesn't bend when manipulated. The only downside is that the leads break easily if you're not careful, I broke them a couple times while crimping on some alligator clips.

Well the connectors are the correct spacing and size for a 9 v battery. The wires are a good length and tinned nicely for soldering. However, these clip connectors are usually in a somewhat confined space, as in my outdoor garage door opener keypad. That meant, for me to make it work, I had to pry off the top of the plastic cage that covers the back of the connectors. Then I had to snip off the remaining parts of the cage near the connectors. Then I had to tape over the back of the connectors to make sure they were insulated. Now it fit in the keypad case. On new work where one could make sufficient room for the "oversized" connector assembly it wouldn't really be a problem. But on old work be prepared to do some modifying if your cramped for space.

Use them as part of my UV cure light for hollow resin prints. Works like a charm.

The hard plastic around the contacts is better than the old style vinyl.

Bought these for arduino project and have four main complaints: The wires are twisted strands and hard to solder. The sheath is weak low quality plastic and melts when you’re soldering the wires. The metal snaps are way too tight on standard Duracell batteries. When trying to disconnect it feels like youll rip the battery or connector apart. The plastic housing is loose fitting and feels like it will disassemble unexpectedly.

Plastic is hard and good quality. Would recommend.
