Nice book, plenty of good info. Am experienced dog person, but new to standard poodles. Very happy with book.

This book is not Standard Poodle specific. It seems like "Standard Poodle" was just inserted here and there. It's an okay new-dog-owner handbook, but if you are looking for a book to learn about, care and help you understand a Standard Poodle this is NOT it.

My wife and I enjoyed this book and got much help from it. Only 2 things kept it from 5 stars--I hate that cover picture and the fact that the book is short.
