I would recommend this unit.
I purchased this Bluevua system in Nov 2022. I made the purchase specifically to: (i) save money from having to constantly purchase bottled water from the grocery store; and (ii) any bottled water delivery services available in my area were too expensive. I deliberately waited a long time before leaving a review because I wanted to be 100% certain of how this water filtration system worked - how well the machine operated, how consistently it performed, whether the taste of the water would remain consistent over time, and more importantly, what it would be like to change the filters. Having had this system for over a year, I strongly recommend this unit. I live in SoCal where the municipal water quality is such that a good filtration system is needed. First, the taste: I was always reluctant to buy a filtration system because I could never be sure of the taste, which I'm extremely sensitive to - it's the reason I always disliked Brita-type systems (which I've tried a few different ones) - the water always tasted vaguely weird and unpleasant ("turbidity" is the word I think some use). The Bluevua filtered water has the refreshing crispness that I like (it was its good taste that surprised me most). It continues to produce the same result the whole time I've been using it. Second, changing the filters: The instructions in the user manual are clear (there are also some instruction videos on YouTube as well); changing the different filters in and out has presented no confusion or problems; the filters last a nice amount of time - all four lasted a little over a year before the unit finally showed I needed to change some of them out. I think the cost of each of the filters is reasonable. Cleaning and care of the unit has been easy - wiping down the unit, washing the carafe, and washing the holding reservoir is simple and straightforward (just be sure to perform regular maintenance; I cleaning/wash everything about once every 3 or 4 months). Most importantly, I definitely achieved my previous stated goals with my purchase of this unit. The overall price of the unit is also reasonable and worth it if trying to find a cost-saving alternative. The only caution (but not a big deal) to mention is that, after each filtration cycle is complete, the holding reservoir has leftover water (which is normal). As the instructions say, you shouldn't try to reuse this water through another filtration cycle. I did, and you definitely notice a deterioration in taste. Instead, I use this leftover water to water plants, which has been great. I mention this in case you're located in an area where water-use bills might get high. In closing, if you're looking for a good, reliable, easy-to-use water filtration system that produces excellent results, you should definitely consider giving this system a try. Thanks for reading!

Really Happy With This RO Countertop Water Filter
I’ve been using this RO system countertop water filter for a little over a year now, and honestly, it’s been great. The water tastes clean and fresh, and there’s no weird smell or aftertaste at all. You can actually tell the difference compared to regular tap water. Setup was pretty simple, and it doesn’t take up much space on the counter, which I like. I use it every single day, and it’s been very consistent with performance. Maintenance hasn’t been a problem either — just basic filter changes when needed. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and gives me peace of mind knowing I’m drinking good-quality water. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable countertop RO system.

Awesome tasting water!
Like most people, I buy way too much of the bottled water at the market. The tap water in LA is horrible tasting, so you really have no choice. So I decided to splurge on this machine. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY. Yes, it's expensive, but your water will be cleaner and will taste TERRIFIC. It'll taste way better than the bottled stuff. Right out of the box, you can tell this was a sturdily-built machine. It is sort of big, but not much larger than an expensive espresso machine. Set-up is pretty easy, although you do have to go through a rinse cycle a few times to clear out the charcoal from the filters. I think it took about five cycles or so to clear it up. My tap water was reading at 500-plus in each fill, according to the digital TDS meter. That's not good to drink at all! After going through the cycle, it read around 25 or so. To fill up the entire carafe, it takes less than 10 minutes I believe. Speaking of the carafe, there's a "remineralization" filter at the very top of the carafe, so you get some of the minerals that were taken out from the other filters. Taste-wise, like I said, it's crisp and refreshing! I bought myself a six-pack of BPS free plastic bottles and now I've got my own sustainable bottled water system. Cons: Well, a couple of them. When it goes through the filtering process, it'll output the "good" water. It also filters out the "bad" water. That bad water stays behind in the water container and you pour out it each time you go through a cycle. So, you're losing maybe a 1/5 of the water that you cycled. You can use that to water your plants, etc., but it's a lot of water. There's no overflow meter that shuts off the system. I had the carafe 1/4 full and I hit the cycle at full. Well, it went past the limit line and started pouring out. So, if you're going to filter out water, make sure the carafe is empty each time. Anyway, this still is a terrific buy for some terrific tasting water!

Great filter, tastes smooth and not harsh like tap water. Very easy to use.
This is an amazing RO filter system. We actually learned about these from our daughters that lives on an Air Force base with some really bad water. People on base recommended to get an RO filter and this was their best option. It's a bit on the pricy side, but sometimes you do get what you pay for, and this is definitely the case. It's super easy to operate and the water tastes great. There is a noticeable difference between our tap water, the filter refrigerator water, and the RO filtered water. We did get the 6 stage, which comes with 4 hard filters, a UV light, and a mineral filter. Everything is installed when it arrives in the box. Filters are already installed, the only item to deal with was placing the mineral filter to the carafe, this just adds small amounts of minerals into the water. We don't notice a difference in taste between using the mineral filter and not. The process it uses does place waste into the water well. Fill it to max, and select the max level to filter into the carafe, and there is still about 1/4 of the reservoir left with water. During the first few runs, which it requires 5 to get the filters ready, you'll see a cloud sent into the reservoir, this is some of the pollutants being removed. Empty the waste and refill for the next one. Easy operation. The LED screed does show filter levels. Reading reviews and reports, the filters should last 12 to 24 months depending on use and how bad the water is that's being filtered. The filters are sold in sets, I've not found any singles. For Coffees and Teas, we definitely notice a difference in the flavors. The drinks are not as harsh and taste cleaner. The water we use measures between 280 and 320. The acceptable government levels for drinking are around 500. The output with our tap water comes out around 12. Our daughter's water on base was 520 to 600, and the filtered water comes out under 100. So it does a good job at filtering. This is an all plastic case. No metals are visible. Boxed really well, comes with instructions. It's really easy to use and pretty much is ready right out of the box. Remove some tap and cushioning, and it's good to fill with water and start the clearing process. Really happy with this one.

A Healthy Investment & Easy to Use – Perfect for Seniors
The Blue Vua Ropot may be pricey but in my opinion a great investment , the best purchase we have made for our home. We've always bought water bottles from Costco but with the growing concern over microplastics , this machine provides the peace of mind we need to stay healthy and avoid those unnecessary toxins. Simple and Senior-Friendly : we really appreciate how easy this system is to use. You don't need to be a plumber to set it up! The interface is intuitive, the water tanks are easy to handle, and the maintenance is straightforward. It fits perfectly into our daily routine without any physical strain or technical confusion. It’s truly designed with the user in mind. Exceptional Human Support: Aside from the great function of the machine, I want to highly commend their customer service. I initially used the website’s chat box to ask about the availability of replacement filters in Canada. While the "robot" gave me an incorrect reply, a support agent named Robyn followed up promptly via email. She didn't just correct the information; she provided extra tips on how to get the most out of our Ropot for better performance. It’s refreshing to see a company that backs their product with such personalized care. And a Human to answer your concerns! We have already recommended the Blue Vua to several of our friends. If you are watching your health and want a high-quality, easy-to-operate water filter, this is definitely a big help in daily life. Highly recommended!

A top choice so far.
So far so good. Quiet operation, ready to go out of the box and the price was right at the time I ordered it. It is worth the $317 I paid, butI would not have paid much more because there I think other offerings might be better at higher prices. I did a lot of research and here is why I chose Ropot. The ZooTubers are really pushing AquaT. But I looked hard at the two models and found reviews alarming in too high a ratio. Secondly the AguaTC just looks too triangly big and strange and is plastic tanks. I didn't care too much about certification, all I saw was it put aluminum in the water according to the pushers' own data. But the Ropot real life reports were on par or better than AquaTC. The AquaTK had even worse reviews and in real life tests came in behind Ropot in water quality and cost to operate, and was said to be loud. Also, AquaT was said to have so.many sensor mal-functions. I suggest you get the full Ropot model with UV and mineral adder. Its only slightly more, but it has UV and the water does not come out flat Ropot is not perfect. The 60oz glass pot is a bit small. You will be making an extra karafe of water to top off those gallons. But the process is only about 6 minutes and you just do it while making coffee or eating breakfast. The glass karafe is nice ( some spell it carafe) is not super fragile as some suggest, but it is not robust. I suggest you just transfer the water right away to more robust storage and keep it with the machine. You'll be making a lot of water, so there is no use in using it like an every day pitcher. The water tank kept in the rear is a pain in the neck.... except.... problem solved! I just turn the machine sideways and problem gone! It looks great from the side too. You don't need to see the front screen after you already know what its all about. The buttons are big you can't miss them by feel. I don't know if anyone is going to make anythinh but a full pot. It works just fine sideways, takes the same space and it is then very easy to access the tank and karafe just like using a Keureg. So you will get 60oz of water and pour out about 30oz every time you make a pot. Maybe more so I would say between 2:1 and 1.5:1 based upon how you fill the tank. There is not much leeway there. And I would just empty it if you have bad water. If you have filtered clean water to start you might get away with some reusable of tank water, but you will reduce your filter life. Where I live water cost and shortage is never an issue. But you can put waste water in an outside garden tank if you live in the desert like a lot of people do with grey water. Pro: Low cost to operate Quiet and fast Top filter performance Availability of supplies. A lot of good reviews to watch and read. Good looking Well cinstructed Not complicated Sold Amazon Prime Can buy a full warrantee UV sanitation Glass storage pot, replaceable Few reports of dissatisfaction. Cons: Could cost too much without a deal Karafe is not robust and only 60oz Water/Wase ratio is about 1.75:1 I will update if the machine fails, but I would say if you want healthy water this is a top choice.

Convenient Countertop RO System – Clean, Great-Tasting Water at Home
I’ve been using this countertop RO water purifier daily, and it has become an essential part of our routine. Setup was very easy—no plumbing required—and the quick-start guide on the front makes everything clear from the first day. We always drain the leftover water after each cycle, so the system stays fresh and clean. For our family of three, we filter about 4 full pitchers per day on average, and it handles this load without any issues. The water tastes clean and fresh, with no odor or aftertaste. The glass pitcher feels premium and is easy to wash. I really like the digital display—it shows filter status and water volume, so everything is under control at a glance. The unit works quietly and fills the pitcher fast enough for everyday needs. It’s compact, looks modern on the counter, and doesn’t take much space. Overall, this is a perfect solution for families who want high-quality drinking water without complicated installation. Practical, convenient, and very user-friendly.

Wouldn't reccommend for any more than two people, use the remineralizer
I absolutely love this thing, with a few drawbacks. If you can, I would advise getting an udersink variation, as this takes up a lot of time and counterspace in comparison. Also, I live by myself, and have to fill this thing 2-3 times a day so if you have any more than 2 people I'd think that the hassle of refilling again and again would be painful. I use this water for everything possible: -Ice -Pasta/Rice water -Humidifier -Coffee -Essential oil diffuser -etc. I would bathe in it if I could. It tastes so smooth that it has ruined all other water for me, and I only want my RO water. It's to the point where I bring a full water bottle every time I leave the house. (helps keep me hydrated!) I did a fair amount of research before buying, and this seemed to be my best option for my situation as I couldn't install an undersink unit. This thing is expensive but it works. If you are consuming the water, be sure to ALWAYS use the remineralizer attatchment. This is because plain RO water is so pure that it will actually pull nutrients/minerals out of your body, ironically dehydrating you. It can also cause long term effects in the body. Same goes for DI or distilled water. One comes included and needs replacing only every 6 motnhs or so. Use it. I've filled the carafe about 100 times or so in the past month and here are a few things I've learned: 1. There is a surprising amount of waste water that takes some getting used to 2. The tank when filled to max fills about 1 and 1/5 carafes, which is annoying. To combat this fill the tank to about an inch below max so that the water runs out before filling the carafe. This way it wastes a bit less water and I need to refill the tank with every carafe. I would recommend this for ease of use. 3. The TDS-in increases throughout the fill process due to the waste water being pumped out and concentrating in the remaining water. 4. The TDS-out is NEVER zero, but for me, where the water isn't too bad, averages around 7, which I'd say is pretty good. Sometimes, it spikes somewhere in the middle of the fill to the low 20's as shown in the 2nd picture. However thats the worst I've seen it. At least its honest and accurate, and it isn't something you would likely get in an undersink application. To simplify, I'll make a pros and cons; PROS: - Extremely effective at removing contaminants such as fluoride, pesticides, or even microplastics. A feature unattainable from jug filters like Brita or Zero water -Water tastes amazing, especially with the remineralizer. Awesome for infused water as well. -TDS reader is a really cool feature -Easy to operate, get used to it quickly -Automatic backflush -High quality overall, especially the Glass carafe CONS: -can be tedious to fill and refill -Waste water is more than expected -Has a fairly large footprint, in my small apartment it takes up a lot of counterspace -Expensive -Max fill tank is an odd amount of water, only one full carafe per tank -the different fill settings are a bit hard to gauge if the carafe isn't empty. (S:0.5L M:1L L:1.7L) TL:DR Buy this if you want to properly protect yourself from the vast array of contaminants in your water, or if you want some water so tasty that it changes your way of living. Worth the money and counter space if you can spare it.
