This holds up. I’ve almost had it for a year, and it hasn’t ripped or torn despite the fact that I have a cat and a dog. The material is soft and holds heat if you put another blanket on top, but can also be very lightweight for when it’s hot. The only thing I don’t like is that it catches all the pet hair, and even then, it’s been manageable. Good blanket and worth the price

My other California King comforters are so bulky and take hours to dry. This comforter is easy to clean dries quicker than any of our other comforters and is longer and wider. It's lightweight and soft. Will definitely buy again.
