Just What I Expected!!!
I didn’t see any reviews for the latest design so I thought I’d leave one as I’m impressed. This is just what I wanted at this price point. I purchased 11/2023.The new design is very sturdy while being lightweight. (I’m a 235 lb 5’8” male for reference). The steel is heavy gauge (roughly 12 gauge tubing) so I don’t anticipate it bending like several reviewers experienced with the previous design. In order for the unit to be stable you need to snug the bolts when assembling and also tighten the pop pins after adjusting. I wanted to leave the bolts loose so things would move easily when folding but the they should be hand tightened. It still folds easily by pulling on one pop pin and then gently pushing the members flat. It’s doesn’t feel bulky at all when folding and storing. The thigh padding is good and is adjustable. It’s not quickly adjustable btw, it’s more designed for you to choose your width during assembly as you have to bolt each pad on with 2 bolts. I left mine on the widest position. The handles may be a bit narrow for those with a wide torso. I’m a size 42 chest and it works just fine for me when I cross my arms and perform back extensions.I was able to assemble in 30 minutes as the item arrives with most bolts, nuts, and washers already in their needed positions. The instructions are an exploded view with no words but it’s still simple to figure out.Packaging was decent, sturdy box and each piece was wrapped in plastic. I had a few light scratches but nothing major.Overall I’m impressed and would recommend.

Horrendous quality overall
First off, adult female (5'4 ht./138 lbs.). I should have trusted the MEDIOCRE, at best reviews.. I was off put by the poor material quality and like many others reviewing, received damaged and bent components necessary for safety and stability. To make things worse, after needing some else to attempt at constructing it, the mechanisms meant to release the adjustment pin are literally for looks. The pin releases, but you must completely unscrew its housing to even adjust the height at all. I found that questionable and this got worse when my shorter self could not position my pelvis/hips in a safe or realistic manner to do lower back extension work as the FIXED foot plates are extremely narrow and close set to one another making it impossible to point toes in or out and isolating in a very unnatural manner. I thought the back extension was shoddy at PF but this takes the cake, and any opportunity in developing one. This bench is narrow, female or male, unsafe, unsteady, and clearly defective. For someone versed in multiple staple pieces of equipment, do not make this mistake, struggle to assemble, and then deconstruct to return in a crummy box to China. I am pretty unhappy, wasted time and money and dealing with the return process. Highly discouraging and I would not suggest this pur hase to anyone, regardless of body size or weight. The measurements were not taken into account and I could forsee a nice injury in trying to "make it work", there is a huge issue with its ability to be utilized correctly whether using for lower back or abdominal training. The ability to correctly "hinge" is unattainable and the height will not allow a necessary pitch to train correctly. Adding any amount of free weight felt extremely unsafe, uncomfortable, and ineffective. Boo.

Best home-gym foldable unit 'out-there'.
Completely out of space in my home-gym. Very few options when it comes tofoldable units. This is well made and well designed. Would have preferred11 gauge instead of (what looks like) 12 gauge, but at this price, I'm satisfied.I'll be using this along with a Rogue "West-Side Barbel: Reverse Hyper-extension: Scout."(also, foldable). The Black foldable/adjustable unit (square-tubing $165 unit) is your 'best-bet.'Absolutely essential to work lower-back/glutes/hams. Eighty% (8 out of 10 people)have lower back problems. Get on it!

This is a nice product and exactly what I needed
FYI - I'm an idiot, in my rush to put it together and test it out....I put the feet on the wrong side and it was kind of wobbly. I put the foot rest part on the long side and the lower leg pad did not feel right and the top swayed. I went back through the install guide and saw what I did wrong. So make sure the foot rest is on the short side and the U shaped floor bracket is on the long side. My mistake. Once I corrected that issue, it feels super solid and the lower leg pad feels correct. Gym is almost complete, next up is mirrors.
