Review: Its worth your money - Its an updated atlas showing 29 states of India. Its one of the best atlases to have. Pros: 1-Maps of historically important civilisations of both India and world. 2-It has maps of all major continents with their physical, political, economic, climatic conditions depicted in unique individual maps. 3- depiction of wildlife on a world map. 4- plate tectonics. 5- table showing river basin area in india. 5-major heritage in danger in worldwide Cons: 1-There was no clear depiction of state borders in enlarged maps of india. 2-Though India has both political and physical maps of its own, its states' both maps have been clubbed together making it a bit difficult to search physical features of a region like origin of a river, its catchment area etc. 3- only a single map on oceanic currents. Wrapping up this review I would say it has touched not only the geographical thoughts of India and world but also the historical and economical thoughts too. Its worth buying.

BEATS ITS COMPETITOR,A FABULOUS BUY.
in many parameters this atlas is better than its competitor oxford india school atlas,in terms of clarity, exhaustiveness, coverage and cartographical variety.its extreme value for your bucks.accompanying cd is a digital version of the book with good access 24 hours on your desktop.at 450 mb installed, its heavy and it wasnt for me.in todays globalised living you need a handy atlas near your desktop for easy reference and it perfectly fits the bill.it does not compete with encyclopedic world atlases but is a benchmark of what an ideal introductory world atlas should be.hence no hesitation in awarding it a 5 star.
