I love these pens. The colors, the smells, how cute and fun they are. I ended up buying all colors to have a full set. They write easy and smooth.I am disappointed in how fast the ink ran out and how I can’t refill them :(( it’s only been about a month and only 2 are consistently writing (the ones I bought later- the red and black). I might consider buying more in the future but I can’t fathom spending $30 on pens monthly bc I use them daily.

I initially purchased these pens for my anxious 18F, but ended up keeping one for myself. Not only is the scent light and enticing, the pen writes really smoothly. The lava accent is a nice, soothing added touch.

They’re super cute and fun, and are exactly as described, they smell great too. Giving a 3/5 star rating purely for the fact that I have only been using them for about 2 weeks now and one is already out of ink and the other is starting to dry up frequently and I have to let it sit for a while with the cap on before it starts to work for only a short period of time.EDIT: I am upgrading my previous review to a 4/5 instead of a 3/5 because of how kind, contentious, and caring this company is about customer satisfaction. Not even a full day after I wrote my original review, they reached out inquiring for more information on the problem I had and to ensure I was happy. I was not looking to receive new pens nor was I looking for a refund, I just wanted to give a honest review. But they kindly provided me with a refund anyway though I never asked for one! I would 100% recommend this brand/company to anyone. Their products are unlike any others I have seen, and for me they help settle my AuDHD jitters, anxiety, and give me something sensory related to help keep my mind focused.Even with the pens quickly running low on ink I would 100% shop with this brand again, they have many products aside from pens that look to be made with equal quality to these pens (which are beautifully crafted)I love what they are providing to people who may deal with sensory, anxiety, stress, and focus issues in adult hood. It would be a good purchase for most ages really, my 8 year old sister spent part of a day playing with the lava pens I purchased.Lifelines— cudos to you and your beautiful company/brand. Remember those smelly markers when you were a kid? Yea. This is the adult version based on the fragrances in the pack. The lavender smells of lavender but it isn’t overpowering. Very slight smell but nice. The pen flows consistently with no globs or skips. The quality is of a nicer non disposable pen.

This was a beautiful idea! I love this concept and they smell great and write really nice. I know I am gonna have to order another set for my mom. She will love this too. The creator needs to add pink and black though to complete the set. .....Oh I see black. Why is it not included in the set? Now I have to order separate if I want the black and then wait 3 weeks cuz it's not shipped from Amazon. Dang. The two packs need to ship from Amazon.Revised--- I have to change my review. These pens run out of ink too fast. The purple already ran out of ink and we only had this a week. These pens cost too much money to be running out of ink this fast. That is not good at all. Creators have to redesign the ink capacity. They need to change this skinny tube and give people some ink like a Dr. Grip pilot pen. There is enough space in this pen to put a bigger clear tube of ink as seen in the pick. So now we stuck with a pen without ink. No bueno Gente.

These bring back memories of smelly gel pens as a kid, but way better! They write smooth, smell great and are overall some of my favorite pens to write with!

The aroma therapy is amazing and the “lava lamp” effect is so relaxing. These pens write thick and smooth, and do not smear!

So they are thicker than a regular pen, but not uncomfortably so. It's a novelty pen so that's not really a surprise. What’s disappointing is that the extra room doesn't do its job. The pen has a slanted ‘choke point’ with a small opening designed to feed the ‘lava’ down in droplets, but the ‘lava’ is too thick so it just sits above the choke point. The pens in the picture stood vertically for 24 hours and still hadn’t drained past the choke point.Shaking the pen breaks the ‘lava’ apart into bubbles and you can watch them rejoin, but that's the extent of the action my pens offered.The other thing you buy this pen for is the scented ink. I’ll be up front. I did not lose my sense of smell to COVID, but I have wondered if my ability to pick up on subtler scents might have been reduced. That said, when first laid down and smelled up close, these inks have a distinct scent. The black has a nice pine blend going on and the red is predominantly cinnamon. Both are enjoyable. Unfortunately, I didn't smell much when I actually started writing. Even fanning myself with the paper didn't carry a strong scent toward me. I only wrote a few experimental sentences. I don't know if a whole page would make a difference to not, but - sadly - when I checked a couple hours later, I couldn't smell anything at all - even up close. If your hope is to send a scented letter, protect it while you write and seal it quickly. Maybe the scent will survive till opened... Maybe.As far as the act of writing, the roller and ink flow beautifully. There was no catching or dragging or roughness. When capped, the tip presses into a small rubber ball in the cap which looked like it would effectively seal the tip and prevent evaporation and crusting. The metal ink tube inside may also protect the consistency, but, unfortunately, it doesn't let you monitor the ink level so you won't know when ink is running low.We’ll see if my impression changes with use, but at this time these feel a bit overpriced because there are other nice, less expensive, writing pens out there and the novelty features you are paying so much extra for don’t seem to function as planned.
