Happy - good value for performance (so far)
I've had this a few months now and overall happy, here are my pros and cons (not many cons tbh)Pros:Looks basically new. (I wasn't sure when ordering what to expect but looks good)The main one for me is that its quick, I bought it to play games on. More old-school nostalgia games off Steam like Command and Conquer remastered or Rollercoaster Tycoon, so not sure how good it will be with bigger, modern games. But for the games I use it for its very quick. It boots up instantly, very responsive when using. Quicker than my other work laptop by a mile. So if you're just using this for work you'll be fine as chrome and other apps are responsive.Picture quality is clearIts pretty lightweight I bought the Inateck 15-15.6 Inch Shock Resistant Laptop Sleeve for it and fits nicely. It's a lot cheaper than other laptops, especially new.For my first refurb I'm pleasantly surprised.Cons:One or two slight scratches or marks, you can tell its not brand new but its very minor and doesn't impact performance.Main thing is Battery life isn't as good as a new laptop, but its not been a big issue for me personally. When playing a game charge probably only lasts couple hours but I just plug it in. If you're on the move for long periods it could be an issue. When not plugged in the screen is a little dark for me, even on full brightness, not so dark you can not use it though but I'd prefer it brighter - again minor issue and feel like I'm nit picking to fill up my review lol. When plugged in its definitely bright enough for me.So would I buy again or recommend it? Absolutely. For the performance I feel like I have got good value, it has good specs and runs a beauty and didn't cost a lot.Was I nervous about buying a refurb? Absolutely, but I'm glad I did. I'm only a few months in and people say refurbs may have a shorter lifespan so probably come back to me in a year, but so far very happy and would buy refurb again. So much cheaper!Edit: Almost 3 years later and still going strong, admittedly I don't use it often but I go through periods of heavy use for a few months then pack it away again but still no issues so far :)

Great purchase so far- fast, easy to use workhorse laptop at an exellent price.
I don't normally write reviews but wanted to add one for the refurbished Lenova Thinkpad T440 as this has been such a positve purchase. Due to working at home I wanted a reliable, fast laptop that didn't break the bank and had windows 10. After a lot of research the price of a brand new Lenova put me off but I'm really glad I went with purchasing a refurbished alternative. A real bargain, it arrived promptly and is very easy to use. Windows 10 is pre-loaded and I was up and running very quickly. This is a very fast laptop, the keyboard is easy and responsive to use, I personally feel the screen is excellent and keyboard and surrounding fascia looked immacualte- a few minor scuff marks at the back but hardly noticeable, otherwise it looks and feels new. Very pleased - so far, so good!

A Genuine Bargain – Buy with Confidence
I hate computers! They’re designed by geeks for nerds. I’m of average intelligence but even when I diligently follow the on-screen instructions, things don’t always go as they should when it comes to computers…… that’s when things get stressful! So you can imagine I had some serious concerns about buying a “renewed” laptop. In particular, the physical condition of a “renewed” machine (especially having taken a closer look at some refurbished ones on other websites) and wasn’t looking forward to setting up another machine from scratch, when my old Dell’s LCD screen started leaking. But happy days! I took delivery of my Lenovo Thinkpad T440 from Computer Remarketing Services (CRS) and it looks like new! I’ve looked everywhere on the machine and all I can find is a slight bit of wear on the silver plating on the “O” of the Lenovo logo on the lid and a slight 0.5mm variation on the gap between the battery compartment lid and the main casing! Yep, I know, and that is nitpicking.Set up wise nothing could be simpler. Didn’t even have to mess about with settings or entering codes, everything went smoothly – Plug and Play - connect the machine to the mains via the supplied adaptor, turn the machine on, up comes the Microsoft install assistant (that vocally tells you what’s going on) and click on the “yes” – “No” – “Accept” tabs according to your choices of set up and you’re away! No stress, no hassle, no problems – love it! Tip: Old folks, like me, might find things a bit easier to connect a mouse (which is also hassle free-just plug it in and let Windows 10 set it up for you) rather than navigate around the screen using the laptop keyboard.CRS thank you so much! Another happy customer. I love computers, when they work!

VERY MISLEADING ITEM DESCRIPTION
The item was advertised as a Windows 10 PRO laptop that windows wasn't actually activated on! I was expected to pay for an activation key on top of the purchase price! Then I found out that it was actually a refurbished model!! At no point on the listing di it state that it was REFURBISHED! Return requested for refund!!

excellent thinkpad
I was looking for a laptop as I bought one of amazon and it wasn’t very good so sent it back, I come across this used one and what a excellent bit of kit it is for the price, it is in as new condition, the great thing about these ThinkPad’s is you can get the docking station if you need a bigger screen, the keyboard, touchpad and screen are easily replaced if they get broken, I use this ThinkPad every day and it hasn’t let me down (6 months now), ok it’s not a gaming machine and it won’t accept windows 11 at the moment due to the processor not been compatible but for the price it does everything else, I will definitely be using this seller in the future.

Bought Nov 2023, failing March 2025!!
This was bought in November 2023 and is already causing issues, with the hard drive periodically switching off and then refusing to switch back in again. Not worth the £179 paid for less than 18mths of usage!
