Very pretty and keeps coffee hot
Very very nice French press! I was looking for something a little different, a little with a bit more style and I found it ! Such a lovely set. It came packaged in a very nice box, which would make a very nice present. The double glass on both, the jug and glasses, keep your coffee hotter for longer, which is quite important if you’re a mom. This press made my mornings just that little bit nicer and classier. It washes very easily, glass seems to be tough and again, it loooks apart !! It would make a great present for anyone who loves proper ground coffee.

Looks great
The idea of a flask like glass definitely keeps the coffee warm. The strainer part of the lid is difficult to place and even when it is, the pouring is far to restricted. Shame otherwise very attractive.

Very small and has design flaws
Tiny , tiny , tiny. Barely does the two small glasses. The glasses look good, however the press has a small hole at bottom as per design. The hole allows dirty water ( sink or spillages ) to get inbeteeen the layers of the press and is very off putting. The press took less than a week to smash in a relatively small knock near sink.

Beautiful Cafetiere and Glasses, tasty coffee
This is a beautiful Cafetiere with two double-wall glasses, it's presented in gift packaging (I think the gift packaging is a little tacky) but it makes some delicious, well-filtered coffee. The cafetiere is 300ml (325ml at a squeeze), meaning it is large enough to make two coffees. The plunger has two layered filters whereas many plungers have just one, maybe it's just in my head, but it seems the coffee produced is better filtered than other cafetieres I've used. The cafetiere itself is double-wall which seems a bit unnecessary to me as it doesn't really matter if the outside gets hot (it's not like you're going to be holding the outside) - I wish they had instead made it of a single piece of thicker glass and made the cafetiere with a larger capacity. The box suggests this cafetiere could be used to make tea, but I wouldn't recommend it. This really is just suited to making coffee. You would be better off buying a proper leaf strainer or teapot instead rather than using a cafetiere for something it's not intended for.The coffee glasses are an odd size, they are too small to hold a standard sized coffee but too large to hold a double-espresso. I'm a little confused as to why they aren't either larger or smaller. I suppose you can pour as much from the cafetiere into the glass as you like, however it's a little unusual for them to not be a standardised size. That being said they do keep your hands well insulated, the glasses warm up a bit but the bottom definitely stays cool enough to be placed on furniture and to be held. Drinking out of them is a pleasure.Pro tip: To get the most out of your coffee with the best crema (the tan coloured layer of foam on top of the coffee) you should use fresh coffee beans that you grind just minutes before making your coffee. This is because the oils contained in the unground beans will evaporate within weeks, and the oils contained in ground beans will evaporate in a matter of hours. Once these oils have reduced in quantity the coffee will have a worse crema, meaning a worse flavour. The gift packaging on this product is a cardboard box, which inside has a foam/polystyrene protective inside covered up by a tacky nylon packaging - overall not very eco-friendly as it's all packaged with plastic derivatives. I'd have preferred to see something a bit more environmentally conscious.Overall I'd say the coffee made by this cafetiere is tasty, the glasses and cafetiere feel good quality - but there are some minor things like the glasses being a strange size and the tacky packaging that make this a 4/5 star item instead.

Good value and quality
Great if you only want 1-2 cups of coffee which I did, so well suited to my needs and produces good quality coffee when used with the right beans.

Clean lines....modern looking and it 'works'.
Excellent product. Does what it says. Looks good and in use is easy to use and easy to clean. The accompanying 'glasses/mugs' are something different and are just that something different which adds to the experience.

Terrible build quality
Neatly packaged product but that is about all the praise I can give it. The glass seems cheap and the "double-wall" feature actually just irritatingly traps water between the glass and makes it impossible to clean, looks pretty nasty to be honest. Another gripe is since the product is so narrow it is very difficult to clean properly, unless you have tiny hands. To summarise: I bought this as a gift, took one look and decided even my worst enemy doesn't deserve such a pathetic French Press. When it comes to these products you are better spending a bit more and getting one that isn't poorly made.
