I get why Deepak Chopra is who he is. I listened to the cassette tapes of this at 19 and was able to get myself off of drugs. I recently started again, after 18 years clean. And it's got a whole new level of meaning as a mother of 4, business owner and wife. I have been easily running myself a bit too hard and needed a reconnect to my higher self. This audio book has given me that and more. A reminder of my own inner peace and beauty, a reminder of my own wonderful and magical connection to spirit and life itself. I have sent links to friends and family, as I would recommend this book to anyone that I love, and anyone I don't. All human beings deserve to be in touch with their higher self. It's almost 24 years ago and a young, inspired Deepak Chopra MD does a stellar job of explaining who we humans are and how quantum physics and ancient wisdom confirms it. If you listen to it carefully a few times a year it will change your self-concept and you'll be a positive contributor, a co-creator of a better world, which has never been needed more than today. If you can find the CD for less than $36 it may be the best investment you've ever made. Thank you Deepak, aka Dr. Chopra!

I first heard this program on tapes that I carried in my car and played on long drives. I found it so valuable that when I traded in my car for a new one with only a CD player, I still kept the program even though I had no way to listen in the car. I was very happy to be able to buy the version recorded on CD and plan on taking it with me on my next road trip.

i have listened to this over and over in my head. It's amazing how he goes from philosophical, to scientific, psychological and poetical. He's a great writer and orator. He taught me so much about my mind in relation to my body and vice versa. I absolutely love this book!

When you wish to wake up,listen to this, and you will, never to sleep/ignore again!Find small ear phones and go to sleep with an auto reverse machine and let the tapes/cds, do the job. When you see: Strengh, Beauty and Wisdom in you, in front/back of you, by you, for you, then, Okness is yours!

I love Chopra and this book has some gems, but too often he goes off on tangents anout chaos theory, how the mind works, etc etc and not nearly enough down to the point of higher self.

The old tried and true basics of Chopra philosophy. Chopra now has numerous options for specific subject matter, but this is the one I always go back to for insight into the science/spirituality connection across many topics.

Invaluable. I would love to read the transcript as some of the information requires serious pondering. Love, love, love this! Everyone should listen to this.
