Lamy Safari Fountain Pen, Medium Nib + 5 Black Ink Cartridges (Red)

Easy to hold and has a smooth nib. Mine is a medium which works well for most tasks. The housing is plastic but the metal nib is high-quality. I was surprised by how good this pen was after many years of using Parker and Waterman pens. I also purchased another with a fine nib based on how much I liked this one.

I searched high and low for a pen that I could wear in my jeans pocket, without the clip breaking or getting loose. This is it. Perfect pen in all other regards too.

Love the pen! I’d buy it again if I lost it. The only thing is it came with a blue cartridge in it even though the pack of refills are black. I’d have preferred if they were all black, but it’s really not a big deal. And to be fair it may have said that in the description but I didn’t notice.

I ordered this pen to use in my artwork. It came with blue ink but the black cartridges were not flowing which were the ones I needed. I notified the merchant and he responded right away. He offered to replace the pen, replace the cartridges, or give me a full refund. I waited to long to respond and the black cartridges were then sold out he told me--did I want a partial refund and find the cartridges elsewhere?He and I had several emails back and forth. The customer service was amazing. The pen itself is easy to write withand can make a variable line when pressing down. Brava!

My Mom has 50 penpals, and she uses this pen with a converter to write to her penpals. My only complaint is that I am ordering more and more ink refills for her. She loves this pen with a passion. Not a single complaint from her.

Love the way this writes I get more compliments on how neat my writing is when I use this pen over any other that I own. I will definitely be getting there Lamy 2000 in the near future.

this is the perfect addition to the writer in your life who wants to dabble in the world of fountain pens, its ergonomic grip is beautiful, and its easy to refill with cartridges, or the adaptor if one wishes to use their own ink. 10/10 highly recommend.

The Lamy Safari is an all-around great pen. It is light, it has a snap-on cap for quick access, I personally love the grip and how it isn't slippery at all, and the nib is comparable to pens over $300. It is an extremely smooth writer. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a converter, but for $34 it is a fantastic pen.

This is an excellent fountain pen, and an amazing value product given the cost. It also has a good design, if a little plain and simple. Highly recommend it.
