No, it does NOT come with an XLR cable or a stand.

Are you able to use this as a usb mic / be able to put this into your macbook pro?

If you use a conversion box, yes. This specific model uses an XLR interface because it requires phantom power (three prong, cylindrical shape). You can spend about $100 on a usb conversion box and use this model. I Use an AKAI professional ($250+) which can handle up to 4 mics and 4 outputs ALONG WITH the usb cable. All that said, you can bypass the whole thing and buy an "AT2020 USB". It hooks directly up to the laptop and there's no other equipment to buy. Warning: If you use an AT2020 USB, it will eat up your battery life, you NEED to have your machine plugged in to use it for a long duration. Reason is: the mic takes about 40 volts of power and audio recording and engineering is a processor intensive task (more CPU work = more power being consumed), it also takes a lot of memory so your HDD will be running non stop.If you're using this for fun, get the USB and save the money. If you're looking to get into more serious work, use the XLR as it's compatible with more high end equipment.

Hey, I have a behringer audio interface with this microphone - I get audio but the blue light isn't on (on the mic). Is this a problem or is it fine?

I have the AT2020USB+ version of this mic, it's USB and it has a blue light.I am buying this XLR version to run through my USB interface like my guitar does, so the sound is only coming from one device.

I used to rode nt1a podmic stenbeirg ur22 And my last microphone at2020 is very good quality and tone. Rode products have a fuller sound and excellent customer service, but the AT2020 has a nice treble tone and I really like it. Thanks to Amazon for this price.

I thought that it’s body was plastic until I unboxed it, and it’s a pretty dope sounding mic too. Would recommend anyone looking for an XLR microphone. Worth the price imo Update: I dont recommend to buy this mic anymore because of the price spike, I’d recommend you to wait until COVID is over and the stocks get back to their MSRP
