LED bulbs don't work well with factory housings
The lights do what they're supposed to do. They're easy to install and simply work. I can't fault them for that. But, putting LED lamps into stock housings is a bad idea. The problem is that the reflectors in light housings are designed for a very specific location of the light source (where the filament is placed), and any deviation of that location throws off the entire projection of light. If the LEDs were placed in EXACTLY the location that the filament would otherwise be placed, the projection would be more-or-less similar. But this simply isn't the case with any LED lights I've found. They're all placed differently and as a result, the function of the stock housing goes out the window.I tried these in a 2012 Jeep Wrangler and immediately took them out because they were actually worse than the stock lights. Brighter, sure; but the low-beams would blind other drivers, and switching on the high-beams gained almost no extra distance because the light source was placed incorrectly. The difference between low-beams and high-beams was comically small. If I aimed the low-beams such that I wasn't blinding other drivers, the brights would only add probably 5' of extra illumination. It was truly that bad.For those of you who have projector headlamps, the same applies (even if to a slightly lesser degree). A couple years ago I tried some LED lamps in my Chrysler 200 which uses HIR bulbs in a bifunction projector. I took those out almost immediately too, because the light pattern was too erratic and looked junky. They also didn't project down the road as far as the factory HIRs (because the lighting was so scattered and unfocused). Additionally, the foreground became too bright, and a dim foreground is essential for distance vision (where it really matters). That's something a lot of people seem to forget. It's also a big reason why I'm giving up on retrofitting LED lights to vehicles that weren't designed to accommodate them. I see much, much better with the HIRs on my Chrysler and Jeep than I did when I tried the LED bulbs. While the xenon-look is appealing in an "I drive an expensive car" kind of way, they seriously hinder your distance vision versus otherwise-healthy HIRs.Anecdote time: I remember the #1 consumer complaint on the Chrysler 200 before I bought it was for dim low-beams. This was actually by [genius] design. The low-beam projector setting is intentionally dim so more light can be focused down the road when the high-beams are activated. In addition to allocating more light farther away where it's actually needed, the dimmer foreground also means that your eyes aren't adjusted for daylight. With a dim foreground, your pupils are dilated more and better able to take in the light from further ahead (this, I suspect, is why virtually every vehicle turns off the foglights automatically when you enable the high-beams). I can attest to how well it works--I drive a wide variety of vehicles and I see virtually just as well at night with the "lowly" HIRs in my 200 than I do with any of the HID vehicles I've driven. The foreground may not be spotlight-bright, but I'm not counting pebbles on the road when I'm driving--I'm watching for deer/pedestrians/obstructions a quarter mile ahead. If your headlights really suck right now, I genuinely suggest just replacing the bulbs with new ones (HIR if you can). Incandescent bulbs lose output as they age. In the case of my Jeep, I ultimately ended up replacing the 7-year old bulbs with brand-new versions of the same bulb and it made a world of difference. And while going with those blue-tinted SilverStar or whatever brand filament headlights gives up some illumination versus the standard non-colored filament headlights, they'd still be better than poorly-fitted LED headlights. For you and other drivers. If you still want the LED/HID color temperature because it looks classy, I'd try to find light housing replacements that were designed for LEDs (good luck, though--a lot of those cheap Chinese ones will burn out quickly).

Fantastic
I bought a pair back in 2018 when I lived in Wisconsin. The mechanic punctured one of the wires so I had to purchase another set to replace the one. It's now ending 2022 and the original one from 2018 is still going strong. Easy to install. Very bright. There are brighter but these are perfectly fine. Definitely recommended and fast delivery.

Decent.
The product is misadvertised as a 12000 lumen LED headlight set. That would be 6000 lumens per bulb. It is not. The spec sheet shows that this product is an 8000 lumen bulb set; 4000 lumens per bulb. I measured the light output with a lux meter and I read close to 4000 lux about two feet in front of the bulb. This measurement matches the spec sheet.Installation was simple, install adapter, attach mounting ring, insert and lock bulb, attach plug. Done - almost. I found out that for my application a canbus decoder was needed to avoid flashing on high beam, resetting the radio and activating the passenger air bag warning light.I emailed Mars Auto and received a reply back within 24 hours. I cannot expect a parts dealer to know all things about all vehicles. In this case a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan that uses the Chrysler SCI data bus instead of the canbus. They offered to supply a canbus decoder. Since I need lights now and not in two weeks, I found a Heise 9007 canbus resistive decoder locally. I used a drill to drill two holes and mounted the decoders with zip ties in the headlight housing. and the installation was done. The disappointing part, though excusable, was that Mars Auto could not tell me if a resistive or capacitive decoder was required. Both are simply resistors or capacitors, and sometime both, wired in parallel with the light to increase the resistance or smooth out pulses on pulse width buses. This is information which a parts seller should be expected to have.I have included two pictures taken from the drivers seat inside the vehicle. The low and high beam provide very good light. driving down a gravel road I could see the individual pieces of gravel that I could never see with halogen bulbs. I have sent back other bulbs that had a color spectrum of 6500 degrees kelvin. Though I did not send the bulbs back because of the color - I sent them back because they were not 9007 bulbs - I did drive with them to test light output and beam focus. The 6500 kelvin spectrum bulb had enough blue in the light that it blended with the road and made seeing the road difficult. These Mars Auto bulbs are only 500 degrees kelvin cooler in color, but the lesser blue highlighted the road. The spec sheet shows that the bulb uses the Cree CSP chips, but does not identify which ones. This information is needed in the packaging and on the Amazon page. While I did measure the light output at 25 feet, I do not trust the measurements. About a week and a half ago I refinished the headlight lens' on the van. After polishing, I sprayed the lens with an acrylic UV and anti yellowing clearcoat. The clearcoat crazed, and I spent two hours the next day sanding the clearcoat off and repolishing. I have ordered new lenses, but they did not arrive before this test. looking at the current lenses with the lights on there are a number of defects that would make an accurate light measurement unreliable. Next week the new lenses will arrive. Maybe then I can update with a reading at 25 feet. The claim of canbus ready is a marketing gimmick that is meant to deceive people into believing that no canbus decoder is needed. It certainly fooled me. Nor was I even sure that a decoder would work on the SCI bus, but it did. The product needs to be marketed with a canbus decoder. All in all, this product is a very good product that does not overheat. However, the marketing misstatements need to be corrected. I will be keeping the product.

Low beam is great, however........
I bought these for a 2000 Ford F350. 2 things to consider prior to purchasing:1 - The wiring protrudes from the side of the cooling fan housing, not the rear. This made it a bit difficult to place the lock ring as I had to remove the plastic clips to lock it in, still with some difficulty.2 - And this may be a Ford issue - when headlights are on and engine off, high beams are lovely. However, when I fire up the diesel (7.3 litre), the high beams de-energize within 30 seconds. Works well on flash to pass, just not on high beam. There may be a Canbus decoder required (still researching this option). I tried running a relay to get full power to the high beams and it made no difference. I have research websites where this complaint has been prominent, but no mention if lights are LED or halogen. Replaced multifunction switch and still same issue. If I hold the switch at halfway between low and high beam, I can get them to hold at high beam. Again, this may be a Ford issue, or at least, a relay overheating. I'll post once I have a solution, if one is to be had.

Lights can cause radio interference.
I wasn't happy with my previous low beam headlights as l felt the didn't provide enough illumination or depth. I thought l would upgrade to an LED kit and thought l would give these a try.The results have been very mixed. On the plus side, the white colour these bulbs put out is so much nicer than the dingy halogen bulbs they replaced. They were "plug and play" and on the whole, installed pretty easily. On the downside, when they come on, they interfere with the radio signal and l can pretty much forget about listening to my regular stations unless I'm pretty close to the city (l live an hour away). The depth they shine isn't any better than the halogen bulbs but what they do illuminate, they do it well.I did contact the support folks and l must say, customer service has been responsive. They suggested ferrite collars, which l have installed, but they don't seem to make any difference either. I was given the option to return the bulbs or they would give me a partial (almost 50%) refund if l want to continue using them.I have decided to go for the refund as l can listen to music on my phone instead of the FM radio and l honesty prefer the light colour over the old. Its a bitch the ferrite didn't pan out but at least it was a good try.Reading the reviews, some folks have had luck and some haven't. Hopefully, you will.

Good bulbs!
Good bulbs, the build quality is nice and the performance is good. My only complaint is that they are 25w bulbs and could be brighter but the design and led placement mimics a halogen filament pretty closely which results In a good hot spot and beam pattern especially for a LED bulb. This focuses the light where it needs to be and not all over the place (unlike cheap LED bulbs). There is a little bit of scatter with these on my 2016 Toyota Tundra but that is expected.

Excellent light output
If you read the instructions, installation is not bad. I first tried to install the complete unit, instead of the adapter first. It can be done, but not worth the effort in my application.Light output is fantastic. There are distinct high, and low beams. Mine flickered, which was fixed with $15 set of resistors. Now for the fun part. High beams stayed on in hi or lo, and lo could only engage by pulling the 'flash to pass' switch. Testing with a multimeter, and confirmed with jumper wires, the vehicle uses a common ground, and switched +12v to either hi or lo. The Marsauto 9007 LEDs are pinned for common +12v, and ground either hi or lo side to complete the circuit. The vendor responded promptly to each communication, and gave me a full refund when they could not provide a solution. Great service, great product, just not compatible with most older American vehicles without wiring some relays or electronics. I have been unable to find a commercial solid state module to plug and play, so I guess I'm building my own. In the mean time it can be set up with relays to function, but they are clunky and unreliable.

Out with the dull orange, in with the bright white
Installation was somewhat difficult. Have to be a contortionist to remove the old and reinstall the new. Cars fault... Lol. Getting 2 hands in to release the plastic clip took some doing on my car. But once the old bulbs are out, these clip in nicely. Definitely prefer the white to the orange. 2015 Subaru impreza. No flickering or errors, just works. My only complaint is not with the blubs... But the box! It's such a tight fit lid. Had to pry it up with a plastic trim tool. In any case, success, looking forward to driving with them.
