This peridot necklace Is quite beautiful and was the perfect addition to my peridot collection.

The pendant is very nice for the price. The stones at the top and bottom are a very pretty rich red, but the second stone from the bottom is almost orange. I expected some variation in color from natural stones, and the fact that they're natural is one of the reasons I bought this necklace, but I have to admit I wouldn't have purchased this particular pendant if I'd seen it in the store. Thankfully it's not exceptionally noticeable from a distance, so it's acceptable. I also expected the pendant to be one fixed piece from the picture, but each garnet setting is an individual piece 'linked' to the others, so it bends slightly when it swings or dangles. It's not what I expected, but it's a nice effect with the dangling earrings I bought to match. The only downside to this is that it's possible that if it's bent too far one or more of the garnet settings will snap off. The chain is, as mentioned in other reviews, thin and flimsy, but I knew that from the other reviews and purchased a stronger chain to put it on without too much extra expense. Overall, it's pretty, and considering the price I think it's well worth it.

Although this pendant is beautiful it is not well made. The bottom stone, including the setting, is loose and hangs lopsided. I wouldn't be surprised if it falls off completely. I am very disappointed as I had my eye on this for awhile.

I bought it as a gift for my mom and she adores it. She constantly gets compliments on it. The peridot stones are a lovely shade of green with a nice sparkle which the silver-work complements. My only criticism is the thin chain that can get tangle. I swapped it out for a more solid chain.
