This is by far one of the best purchases I've made! This set of Russian tips comes in a cute little box, everything you need : bags, LOTS of tips, and the email the family company sends you when you order shows color photos of what each tip will create, along with precise instructions - even a recipe for the perfect buttercream! I made the recipe last night, easy & fast, split it up and made 3 colors, used the bags & interchangeable tips and actually created this masterpiece! I couldn't believe how easy, how pretty all the flowers were, it was SO FUN i kept adding more & more, lol! Sent the cake with husband to his work party today, he texted me that all the employees are taking pictures of the cake, sending the pics to their friends, wives, etc. Instant success from this first-time decorating experience! If you are hesitating but really want to try, just BUY it, the set is not intimidating, it's very inexpensive and you will not be disappointed! Make your icing as they instruct, should be smooth & very thick, thicker than peanut butter, but still moveable. If you do the recipe exactly, it will be right. Easy clean-up, just throw the tips into hot soapy water in sink or into silverware basket in dishwasher. Great product!

I was very skeptical; however, these piping tips are great! The seller also sent an awesome PDF of recipes (I used their basic buttercream frosting and it was perfect) and helpful tips. That was great to have. The reuseable bag isn't the best. Mine popped a hole halfway through its first use. That being said, the tips themselves were very easy to use and produced great results! My daughter wanted a unicorn cake she saw at a local grocery store bakery that started at $80! So, we decided to try and duplicate it using these tips and this horn and ear sethttps://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BVJKVQP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . We were super pleased with the results (see picture). I did several practices on a cutting board, first. The only problem I had, which may be a user error/needs more practice, was I had trouble getting the flowers to adhere on the sides of the cake. Overall, great, great product! I actualy have been trying to think of the next thing that I could possible make a cake for just to use these tips! Fun! I want to try and get the other designs.

My 16yo likes my basic piping set & has been asking more frequently to bake & do cool icing. I got her this, & she's fascinated. She tested out several tips with one color, & it only took a few tries to get the hang of it. She's experienced enough to know how to make good buttercream & squeeze the piping bag, so she caught on faster than I did.Don't expect to do it right on the first try - it takes practice. But it gives results that look far more complicated & skilled than you really have to be. The tips create very nice shapes as long as you know how to control the bag.

All the piping tips were well made, and there are a LOT of them. They cleaned up easily in my dishwasher and didn't tarnish at all.Unfortunately, there are no instructions or "this tip looks like this" so when I frosted the cupcakes it was a lot of trial and error. They still turned out great and the frosting tips are super fun, but knowing what each one looks like when used would have been helpful.The disposable piping bags are not great, though. When I tried to use the 3-in-1 set to make a rainbow effect, the bag ripped when I screwed on the ring that holds the tips in place, tons of frosting came out around the ring. I had to use other bags I had on hand. The reusable bag that came with the set works great though.With that being said, this kit is still totally worth the price just for the frosting tips.

I needed this set because I like to decorate cupcakes and cakes. I found the functionality really great. The variety of tips that came with it I could do anything. A different variety of tips is great. I like that the size is clearly written on each tip. would recommend this product.

Exactly what I was looking for

Very happy with these Russian Tips. Can see many ways to use these in various applications. Used several of them to try designs for nieces birthday cupcakes. Did not work well with "buttercream" made with some vegetable oil (Crisco), firmed up to much and very difficult to push through tip, but excellent with regular buttercream or "vegan" buttercream as niece needs. Going to try with slightly room temp (vegan) for crisper results, see what happens, otherwise worked well, just made, for filling cupcakes, and frosting. The ball tips were more difficult to use, possibly b/c they both had opening design at center and inexperience of use. When ending design, they did not want to "pull up" nicely--looked torn at edges of design. Was able to cover up with one of other "flower" tips as center design on same cupcake. Used butter knife to clean out inside of tip when done (these hold a lot frosting so make enough if using several tips), washed in sink of hot/warm soapy water, came out beautiful cleaning wise. Also, disposable bags that came with set are fine. You get plenty so if a few bust, not tragedy, pain to clean up & reset but actually able to reuse a few. Seam did bust on one so far, but happy have enough to keep working. Be warned that you need to trim quite a bit from end of bag for these tips, they are large, just don't go to big or tip will "squeeze" through hole when piping. Better to have to "cut twice, measure twice" than ruin reusable bag. Have fun with these tips! I will be purchasing more ball tips without center design to see if that makes difference, and if experience improves results. Great value for price.
