MAGICAL LITTEL JOURNAL!
Hubby and I decided to start journaling but with no idea where / how to start. That was 39 weeks ago! (But who is counting!) We started with this little journal after reviewing about 100 different ones. We kept coming back to this one because it was quick, easy and motivational. The first part of the journal talks to you about journaling, changing your life, habits, and so so much more! It gets your mind set to begin a new journey! I used to be someone who always thought negative and had to battle my mind to pull out positive thoughts. Now - positivity and gratitude comes easily. My days are filled with so much more happiness and calmness. Every day we get up, go for our walk with the dogs, do yoga and meditation, then sit down with coffee to journal. It only takes 5 minutes! Well - when we first started journaling - it was NOT EASY! I am a writer and like to read. Hubby not so much. But sitting down and really thinking about what were we grateful for was painful. I mean, ask yourself what you're grateful for and you can do a list pretty simply. BUT when you do that list every single day - try thinking of something that you haven't written yet. Something DIFFERENT than what you say every single time! Well THAT is a challenge and much more challenging than you'd think if you've never done it! THIS JOURNAL IS MAGICAL! It helped us both change a lot about ourselves!!! There's little sections of questions that come up that we would each answer and then TALK about! We started to see where we were "stuck" and the areas that were dramatically different to each of us perceptually. It's easy to carry, plenty of writing space - I write all over and in the margins! If you skip a day it's not like a calendar, you don't have a blank page staring at you daunting you.... you just circle the day of the week and jot down the day. Poof - a filled page! I write with roller ball pens and it does not bleed through - nice thickness of paper. AND if you have a LOT to say one day - you can just continue over to the next page - circle that day / add the date and note CONTINUED! Maybe you don't have a lot to say one day - that's OK. Trust me, you're going to find something to fill in the blanks with each and every day. NOW if i try and go a day without my journal I feel lost. Hubby and I even tried to "graduate" to a different journal - nope. We're back!!! THIS JOURNAL IS FANTASTIC especially for the beginner. BUY IT!

Intentionality
The 6-Minute Journal has quickly become a favorite part of my daily routine. It’s simple, structured, and incredibly effective at helping me focus, reflect, and set a positive tone for the day. The prompts are thoughtful but not overwhelming—just the right balance of mindfulness and productivity. What I love most is how time-efficient it is. Just a few minutes in the morning and evening, and I feel more grounded and intentional. The layout is clean, the paper quality is excellent, and the motivational quotes throughout the pages are a nice touch. Since I started using it, I’ve noticed an improvement in my mindset, consistency with my goals, and overall mood. It’s helped me create a healthy habit without adding stress to my schedule. If you're looking for a practical, no-excuses way to incorporate gratitude and focus into your life, the 6-Minute Journal is worth every penny.

Miraculous Transformation with the 6-Minute Journal
I embarked on a journey with “The 6-Minute Diary” on May 1st, and today, on September 17th, as I complete this journal, I feel compelled to share my transformative experience. This journal, which seamlessly combines gratitude, mindfulness, and positive psychology, has been nothing short of life-changing. From the very beginning, I was captivated by its simple yet profound approach. The daily exercises, requiring just a few minutes of my time, have gradually shifted my mindset from one of neutrality and apathy to a state of genuine contentment. One of the standout features of this journal is its monthly self-assessment. It prompts you to rate various aspects of your life on a scale of 1 to 10, including work, physical health, and overall well-being. In May, my scores were dishearteningly low, with nothing above a 5. Fast forward to today, and not a single score falls below 6. The improvements in my life are astonishing. I now find myself walking 20,000 steps a day, a feat I could only dream of before. Healthy eating has become a habit, with 70% of my meals aligning with this newfound commitment. I practice gratitude twice daily and engage in mindful meditations 1-2 times a week, bringing a profound sense of peace into my daily routine. In essence, “The 6-Minute Diary” has touched every facet of my life and uplifted it. It feels as though this journal has saved my life in more ways than one. If you’re seeking positive change, greater contentment, and a powerful shift in mindset, I wholeheartedly recommend this life-changing diary. Thank you, “The 6-Minute Diary,” for guiding me towards a better version of myself. This is a great gift, it travels well, it's pretty and it works. Take the leap!

I am Grateful I purchased this gratitude journal! You will see positive changes in your life!
Just completed AM for Day 1. I love this journal. The info questions and quality of life assessment had me in tears. I didnt realize how unfulfilled and unhappy I am within myself. But I KNOW this Journal will be one habit in my life that is going to create me into a happier, healthier, purposeful person. The only reason I did not give it a full 5 stars is because 1. There is simply not enough room for responses. I know each section is only supposed to be 3 minutes, but for those of us who write big and long, there isn’t enough space for us to complete the whole response 2.I would love to have had a book jacket to keep it clean. Even something simple 3. I would like to see additional prompts in the notes sections. Maybe something light hearted like “what’s one thing that made you laugh today” but have different light hearted prompts per day. Positives: 1.simple to use, very straightforward with the questions and prompts 2. Simple design, no fluff, and very tasteful 3. Has a “please return to” page 4. The first section is TONS of info about the science behind gratitude and mindfulness. I learned a lot just reading those short sections. Definitely gets you geared up to start journaling. 5. Perfect journal for those always in a hurry or for limited time (kids, work, etc) 6. Tons of online resources to help you on your journey. Take advantage of those! Other than those few things that I would change, this is THE gratitude journal. Buy it!! I AM GRATEFUL FOR FINDING THIS JOURNAL!

Best positive journal
This journal is absolutely wonderful to help users view each day with a positive mind frame. The journal starts out with a 66 page "mini book" explaining how to use the journal and explaining some really awesome psychology concepts. The journal is structured so that each month, you track 20 components of your health using a 1-10 scale and 3 small charts with the numbers 1-31 to track habits. Additionally, there are weekly, thought provoking questions (different questions each week) and a page for weekly notes. The bulk of the journal is filled with pages that say: "I am grateful for..." "This is how I'll make today great" "Positive affirmation" (to be filled out in the mornings) and "My good deed today" "How I'll improve" and "Great things I experienced today" (to be filled out in the evenings). There are weekly challenges and inspirational daily quotes. The back of the journal contains a nice sized folder to store stuff in. I love the concept of the journal, and I love using the journal. My one and only complaint is that it's expensive enough that I can't buy hundreds of them to share with other people (not that I normally do that with journals, but this journal is good enough it makes me want to share it with everybody). If you are considering buying it, do it; you won't regret it. If you are depressed or have a depressed child in the house, I would imagine it could help alleviate some of the bogged down feelings associated with depression. If you just want to have a better outlook on life, this journal will help. I bought the journal with the book "It's Not Supposed to Be This Way" by Lysa Terkeurst about learning to find strength when you encounter very real disappointments and hurt in life, and together, the journal and the book are a beautiful pair. The transparency of the book coupled with positive affirmations in the journal is perfect combination for hurting hearts or hearts seeking endurance and perseverance. I hope you find these as encouraging and uplifting as I have found. Stop reading already, and buy them! :)

Great effects with little effort
Last year, my husband and I started engaging more with the topics of psychology and self-development.That was when we became more and more aware of how negatively we were actually seeing and handling many day to day things. “The waiter at the restaurant could be more friendly”, “The traffic on the way back from work was terrible again”, “We have a really unhealthy diet” and so on. The list of complaints is long and the glass more half-empty than half-full. To us, it seemed like everyone else was so much better off and we were always the unlucky ones. We talked about our attitude very often but it didn’t really change over the long haul. We kept falling back into our old patterns, stuck in our rut. My best friend noticed these patterns and recommended journaling to us. She’d been journaling for a long time but for us, it was an alien concept. At first, we thought: how is writing stuff down going to improve our mindset let alone our problems? She told us about The 6 Minute Diary and I thought it sounded like one of those bold “Get a six pack in six day”-promises. But since my friend really praised the book and frankly, we didn’t have a lot to lose, we decided to give it a try and bought two copies. Today I can say that it was by far one of the best investments we’ve made this year. On the outside… The book has a lovely design and the linen material feels great when you hold the book in your hands. It comes with a pretty card which has a nice quote on one side and a greeting message on the other. I’ve hung mine on my bathroom mirror as the quote is very motivating. The effects... Just the theory part at the beginning is worth the purchase. It sums up many new findings from happiness research, habit formation and self-reflection, which combined make a great mindfulness tool. I think it is the simple concept that makes this book so special and the fact that you fill in the pages yourself. A great side effect that I’ve started noticing: the positive changes spill over into many other areas of our lives almost automatically. Both of us can feel noticeable effects ever since we started using the diary. For example, instead of cursing about the traffic jam on my way to work, I started listening to podcasts and enjoy my Me-Time. I’m grateful for that little time I have to myself in the car. In general, both of us have started looking at daily frustrations with a different attitude. Whether that’s how we perceive or react to stressed colleagues, unfriendly cashiers or the household to-do list. In a nutshell: before we were left at the mercy of events, now we’re shaping them ourselves. I can’t wait to see how this transformation will evolve in the future. The concept… The fact that you use the book in the morning right after getting up and at night before calling it a day, you set your focus on the positive - and this focus is “active” throughout the whole day. Reviewing the little highlights of the day at night sets the mood for my night and I even sleep better. My husband and I do the evening routine together which actually has strengthened our relationship. Our favourite so far... The weekly 5 questions! There are various books on the market which focus on these sort of life questions, however, we haven’t come across a work that has got such a nice mix of deep, funny, entertaining and inspiring questions at the same time - though some of the questions are familiar. Rather than giving a spontaneous answer you actually think about the question when you know that you’re going to write your answer down. It makes you engage with the topics on a deeper level. I’ve discovered some new things about me and the way I used to see things. Also, we started doing this little thing where we ask our close friends some of the questions when they’re over for dinner and it’s really interesting to hear how other people approach the same question. What can be done better: The book can be used for around 22 weeks which is just under 6 months. It would be nicer if you could use it for at least half a year straight. Also, I would prefer a third ribbon to use it for the monthly check page. All in all… I want to say a big thanks to the makers of this book. It’s worth every penny.

Overall, a good journal
There is a lot to like about this diary. It's simply beautiful and bound traditionally with two ribbons as place holders, which I love. Gives a daily motivational quote, place to write three things you are grateful for, etc. However, some of it gets redundant. It asks you to write a positive affirmation which I struggle with because it tends to be the same thing each day. I also don't like that it's not a real DIARY. Aside from three small lines, it doesn't give you room to actually write about your day and memories; it's more of a self-help, motivational journal. Finally, the layout is almost a pre- and post journal for the day (starting with "I'll make today great by..." and finishing with "Three things I enjoyed about today." This style doesn't work for me as I tend to write at night.
