Gore Bike Wear Men's Countdown Active Shell Pants

I was stunned when I opened the package and read the literature to find that these pants are described on the label as "water resistant," not waterproof. Given the reputation of the Gore name, I assumed that they were waterproof. Furthermore, these came up under a search for waterproof pants. Since I want to keep my clothes dry underneath, water resistant is just not going to cut it. They'll be returned for sure. The seller should improve the description on this page to clarify that they are water resistant to avoid confused shoppers

These fit nice and loose but tight on the ankles, where you need them tight. The reinforcement in the crotch and ankles ( where they're exposed to the chain) looks like it will hold up for decades.

The product is excellent. It is exactly as advertised.The size guides could be improved. I found the legs are a bit long for me and the size is not small but I would have expected them to fit more loosely.

Also besser geht's nicht, wirklich!!!Ich hab mir diese Hose zusammen mit einer Jacke vor etwa 2 Monaten bestellt und trage die Hose seitdem 5x wöchentlich auf dem Weg zur Arbeit und zurück nach Hause um ca. 6 Uhr morgens und 15h nachmittags für rund 30 min.Sie ist einfach nur genau das richtige, was ich brauchte bei den wirklich sehr unterschiedlichen Temperaturen. Morgens teilweise nur ein paar Grad über Null, nachmittags hochsommerlich.Bei den morgens noch frostigen Temperaturen kann ich euch sagen, diese Hose hält sowas von warm und ist zudem noch richtig angenehm zu tragen. Und trotzdem schwitz ich darin nicht!!Nachmittags überleg ich mir dann, ob ich die Hosenbeine abnehme oder nicht, und ab gehts nach Hause. Einfacher geht es nicht, extrem angenehm, dass ich mit der Hose keine Wechselklamotten mitnehmen muss. Je nachdem wie warm es ist, in lang oder kurz nach Hause fahren, einfach spitze!!Zwei Luftschlitze am Oberschenkel ermöglichen dann noch bei richtig heissen Temperaturen eine noch bessere Luftzirkulation.Ich bin aufgrund der Erfahrung der letzten zwei Monate wirklich überzeugt, den richtigen Kauf gemacht zu haben!

These Wind & Water Proof trousers are a fab addition to any cycling fan's kit. Lite wait and convertable to shorts they fit well Look good they also pack down to a small size if touring or for genarel outdoor use. They do as they say on the tin. Great Producit!

Very good product, you can use them in the winter or in the summer. I have nothing bad to say about this item.

wie erwartet - alles gut

Ich habe inzwischen das zweite Exemplar für meinen Mann gekauft: Eine sehr robuste Hose, die bereits mehrere 1000 km unbeschadet hinter sich hat. Warm und absolut winddicht, sowohl auf 100 km bei -15 Grad Celsius als auch auf einer längeren Tour bei 0 Grad Celsius und reichlich 40 km/h Windgeschwindigkeit. Mein Mann und ich sind gleichermaßen zufrieden: ausdrückliche Kaufempfehlung! Der Preis ist absolut gerechtfertigt - lieber etwas mehr Geld investieren für Top-Qualität.
