Awesome *Does* come with power adapter
I bought this item really only because the Inspiron Duo only has three ports built into it (one 3.5mm headphone jack and two USB ports). You need the port replicator featured in this dock to do things like connect to the internet via an Ethernet chord or use an SD card. In addition to these features, though, it also charges the thing and plays music. The sound quality is actually pretty great - something that I would expect out of a JBL product. It's no Klipsch, but you know what - I actually got noise complaints here in my hotel with this thing, I was having some fun with it! It is also advertised as being able to double as an alarm clock, though I haven't figured that feature out just yet, my Duo has had Win7 replaced on it - so it doesn't automatically pull up a clock face when I snap it in. One final note: The description states this item is not shipped with its AC adapter - when in fact it does come with it. The item is shipped new with the Dell tamper evident tape on it.

Good Quality, but no a extreme sound
I thought this product would sound hard, really leave much to be desired, but at least it has good quality materials and fits perfectly with the Inspiron Duo.

Stable base and great even in Linux
I have it plugged into a nice stereo system and the base is good an stable. My Dell Duo sits on my nightstand and the Debian Linux operating system immediately recognized the audio dock and sound system. I'm buying another one for my yacht. What a great product.

Well Thought out Docker
This Audio Station really makes the Dell Duo an even better product. This has a small footprint and offers the viewer and listener expanded alternatives. The Duo's sound system is fragile if not just mediocre. This docker enhances the sound from a simple system of mediocrity to somewhat better. No, the audio station is not a high end speaker system but for normal listening habits it is perfect and a lot better than the speaker system in the Duo. The included bells and whistles adds value to the product. A decent sized clock that can be set to speak the time on the hour. At first I thought some woman had entered the house without my knowledge but I'm somewhat crazy. I lowered the volume on the dock's side and thought how nice. The picture frame feature is delightful. I loaded a full album and off it went. On and on coupled with the high definition of the Duo it made for a super set of remembrances. So far I have not had reason to use some of the inputs such as the HDMI or ethernet connector; however, those are on my agenda as soon as I get another router. I rated this docker down one notch due to the sound and lack of significant instructions. It makes the user try a lot of different alternatives without providing specificity. That, however, is keeping in line with the Duo which is similar. Regardless, I am happy with the Audio Station and expect to get a great deal more out of it than I already have.

Love It!
I got a second one so I could plug in my computer on two different floors of the house without having to move one. I have downloaded all of my CDs onto the laptop and can listen to music without any hassle. I no longer need a stereo system, so it saves a lot of space as well. It is also great for watching netflix and hulu, holding the computer at just the right angle for viewing. I highly recommend it and the Inspiron Duo.
