A TRULY loveable man-whore
I know what you are thinking: "Oh, great, another book about a suave, rich, jerk-faced, unrepentant man-whore who carelessly uses and discards women like toilet paper because his mommy never loved him." WRONG. So wrongI love Tom. Do you know why Tom gets ladies so easily? Because Tom is awesome. He's a manly-man, bearded, outdoorsy, capable with a chainsaw, motorcycle, boats and welding torches. Yeah, girls, he'll chop wood for your fire and keep it stoked all night. But, he's also honest, handsome, charming and dimpled, kind, funny, artistic (in a manly way) and loves his family and friends with all of his heart. He's not ashamed to cry or to sit at the kids table at Thanksgiving. He's also got a nearly endless supply of tourist-ladies who love a bit of vacation fun.Tom's also not a superficial douche:"Confession Time: It takes a lot for me to not want to sleep with a woman. Size didn't matter if she had confidence... Age didn't matter if she didn't act old. Language barriers? Not a problem and sometimes a bonus. As long as there was chemistry, I could make it work."So I ask you, can we really hate on a man who enjoys what's freely given when he's not interested in settling down? Heck, no! I'm jealous, actually.Because I really loved Tom, I thought the all-hero POV was fun. I like hero perspective on love and life. But I will be honest and say that while this was funny and had steam and very likeable characters, it fell a little short in the romance department. There wasn't much conflict, just Tom's ridiculously long journey to the realization that he loved Hailey. It went as follows: sort-of-friends who do it, then stop and try to be real friends then date and fall in love.Their road to love is actually the least fun and interesting part of the book. Tom's life, in general, was a hoot. I loved him and his family and Hailey was a bonus because she was cool. As a romance reader, I was a little bummed that it wasn't more fantastical. I'd have liked more conflict and "awww"-inspiring romance. Hence the 4-stars.

I wasn't sure I was going to like this book
To be honest, I wasn't sure I was going to like this book. I wasn't a huge fan of Tom in the first book, so I was hesitant. I jumped in with both feet though, determined to continue enjoying this series.I am so glad I kept reading!I fell in love with Tom pretty quickly. While he was a bit of a player, he knew how to take what he wanted. Enter Hailey. She's absolutely perfect for him. Their chemistry was off the charts and I rooted for them to get together almost instantly. She calls him on his bull$*** and they make a lovely pair. They're funny and sweet and just plain wonderful.I also love how every other character is important. We see old favorites and make new friends, as well.Don't miss this awesome entry in the Wingmen series!

Save yourself. Don't bother.
1.5/5This book is kinda awful. The story is okay. Typical romance story line, woman changes playboy into relationship guy. But the first person writing is from the man's perspective. It's terrible. I don't know what kind of men the author knows but from the way this story is written it sounds like she's never met a man in her life. At some moments he has all the fake bravodo and "man hugs" cause he's too cool to just hug a person. And at other times he's just talking about all of his feelings. Every thought he has is so emotional. I'm not saying all men are robots, but do you really have to explain every thought and feeling you have? SHOW, don't tell."I probably should have asked myself why she wanted to slap me. Had I stopped to think, I might have realized unlike most women with the same expression on their face..."That's an actual quote from the book. So, you didn't realize this, but you're telling me you should have realized it. You do realize it. But you didn't at the time you weren't thinking but you've thought about it now. It's too much and so unnecessary. Just save yourself a shitty time and ask a girlfriend about her boy drama because that's what this character does. He sounds like one of your girlfriends talking about how they don't want to be in a relationship and then they get one.I don't know. I'm trying to make it through the whole story, but I'm on chapter 6 and dying. It doesn't appear to get better from here.

DISAPPOINTING AND BORING READ
I was expecting more from this book when I first started to read it but sadly it was disappointing and rather boring. Nothing seemed to happen in it and it just plodded along. Too sweet and tame for my reading tastes I'm afraid and I kept expecting and hoping for a bit of drama and angst but it never happened and was really predictable. The story is about Tom and Hailey who is the best friend of Lori, Tom's sister and is written from Tom's POV and I much prefer reading a book with both POV's so I never felt I could relate much to Hailey as you didn't get to know much about her in the book apart from what Tom told you. The story is the usual where the bloke doesn't want to settle down and plays the field and Tom was no exception. I felt the character of Hailey was just a pushover and that she was just waiting in the wings for Tom to decide he wanted to be with her in a proper relationship, which was really annoying. I think the story would have been much more interesting if she had played more hard to get and as she worked with him she could have gone on a date with one of his workmates just to rile him which would have made this book a much more exciting and dramatic read instead of it being so slow with very little happening.

Just wow!
This is the first I have read of this authors and I truly loved it. I loved the way it was written, the pace the story set and the emotions I felt. This is exactly the type of read I love, a bit of playing hard to get, a strong macho man and an equally strong willed woman! Add to that a great family and a bit of sorrow, loss, birth and a few ex's and it all makes for a fantastic read. I think Daisy will be added to my favourite author list

Confessions of a reformed Tom Cat
We met Tom in Daisy Prescott's book Ready To Fall (best friend of the very delicious John Day)! I love Tom's story. It's the perfect blend of all the right ingredients for a romantic comedy. Hilariously funny moments (hot tubs and New Year's Day hangover cures had me doubled up), great chemistry between Tom and Hailey, and just the right amount of poignant scenes too. Great characters, beautiful descriptions of the area, well written. Best of all, a hero and heroine who you can't help but love. It's an absolute pleasure watching Tom reform. Beautifully done!

💛 Tom
The story of Tom "Tom Cat" to everyone else for very good reasons, and Hailey or "Idaho" as he knew her from childhood. She has changed from tomboy to a beautiful artistic woman and they have a lot in common with each other. What he doesn't know is that she always had a thing for him. Laughs and tears in this story as we go though a year, starting when she comes crashing back into his life.

Good story
He is the proverbial one night stand guy until Hailey, his sisters best friend tells him she would like that one night. They are good together and gradually he goes from the odd hook up to wanting to see more of her. Nice build up.
