FUJIFILM FinePix S9900W Digital Camera
So far the remanufactured camera is operating like a new camera. I hesitated purchasing a remanufactured camera; however, I have heard super reviews - since remanufactured cameras are thoroughly inspected and cleaned. This FUJIFILM FinePix S9900W Digital Camera is clean! This camera, I find to be lightweight and has a good grip. On the downside for me - is the amount of noise generated by the on/off switch. In addition, I find myself really consciously pushing the button to slide on/off. The other minor issue that is not a function issue - is the back closure to the batteries and card reader. Seems that I am struggling to move the switch to open and the first time - I wasn't sure how the closure opened to the batteries and card reader. Otherwise, the camera overall has a clear lens and finding the telephoto and wide angle lens extremely easy to operate. The clarity of the photographs is the usual top quality from FUJI. And the amount of features - I haven't even touched the surface! The company I purchased this camera from has been outstanding. When I contacted the seller before my purchase with some questions, they responded timely and completely answered my questions. I found this company to be professional and would purchase from them again.

Best Camera Ever! Don't listen to thise negative reviews please!
I was very weary to buy this camera because of the bad reviews, but I had a good feeling about this camera, and got it anyways. I have to say, I am so glad I got it!! This camera is well constructed, came packaged very well, it's easy to learn how to use it, and I'm very impressed! I recommend this amazing camera to anyone who needs a reliable camera at a wonderful price, seriously, the price! And it does come with the aa batteries, but you can chose to change your battery type on the camera settings. I love this camera, and was so glad I didn't listen to the sore reviews from picky people. Please don't listen to the bad things, see the good!!😏

Like holding plastics
Not a bad camera. The quality isn't there. The plastics that used to build this camera is cheap. Photo quality is fine. I don't expect a lot from a point and shot.Big cons:No manual focus. the auto focus is not always reliable and the manual focus will be so helpfulvery small aperture.not good photo quality compared to Canon Powershot G16Advice: pay a little bit more for other

Good camera at what it is intended to do
OK, first of all this is NOT a DSLR or even a "cheap DSLR." While you can control some things manually (such as shutter speed, aperture, etc.) it can be frustratingly limited. What it does well is, for a relatively low price, gives you a lens that has a strong "zoom" and can also do "macro" shots. It is a really good "point-and-shoot" and if that is how you intend to use it you will likely be VERY satisfied. The quality of construction is pretty marginal. It is fairly lightweight and not terribly durable. But if you are careful it is not going to fall apart in your hands. But if you want to really use the zoom PLAN on using a tripod of some kind. It is nearly impossible to get a clear image without something to hold the camera still. My example pictures of the magpie were pretty much at maximum zoom with a tripod and I still had some trouble getting a clear shot (even the attached ones aren't particularly good). The pictures with the horse give some idea how well the zoom can work.Good:Can handle a wide variety of pictures from "zoom" to "macro."The picture quality isn't going to win any prestigious competitions but if you just want to capture a moment it can do that. The manual settings are pretty easy to use. If you know what you are doing it won't take you long to master it.Bad:Any time a single lens is intended to be used for a 50x optical zoom AND macro/super macro some quality is going to be lost (jack of all trades, master of none).Zoom is electric so it can take a few moments to get the zoom where you want it. I had an older model of a Fujifilm camera where I could manually rotate the lens to "zoom" and it was MUCH faster.AA batteries can get expensive after a while compared to a rechargeable battery but sometimes it is nice to just throw in some new batteries you can get at any store/gas station and not have to hope that it is charged. The SD Card slot is in the battery compartment. My tripod uses a piece that screws into the tripod space on the camera that I have to remove to get the SD card out. Not a huge deal, but in my previous version of a fujifilm bridge camera the SD card slot was more easily accessible on the side.Summary: If you are looking for a DSLR but just don't want to pay the extra several hundred dollars (minimum) you are going to be disappointed. It is better to think of this as a "point-and-shoot" with a really big zoom than as a "economically priced DSLR." If you can accept it for what it is it can be a really good camera.

Very sophisticated point and shoot
Great camera for less than $300. Have been using Fujifilm for years. My last one is the S8100. This has some features the 8100 did not. Love the WIFI connection to my desktop, the panoramic feature and the rapid shot burst feature, the 50x lens, and this gives me 16.2 mega pixels rather than just the 10 on the 8100. Best to use a tripod when shooting at full 50x telephoto.

Fuji camera that links to your phone.
Great working camera and the 50x zoom is fantastic. The best feature is adding the Fuji app to my android phone and linking it to the camera to take photos and well as control the zoom with my phone. Put the camera on a small tripod to keep it steady while taking the zoom shots. I also linked it to my Samsung tablet to use as the "view finder" even larger than using my cell phone. The camera has unlimited built in features to take just about type photo you can think of.

Terrific camera for those who don't want to have to mess around with all kinds of crazy settings.
I purchased this camera because I was looking for a good P&S that I could also customize some of the settings. This camera fills that need perfectly. I needed a camera that I could quickly grab and take wildlife shots before the opportunity disappears. So far, the only thing I find annoying is the crappy lens cover. I've never seen one like it. It falls off at the slightest bump. If anyone has a remedy for this, I would love to hear from them.
