Excellent purchase, will definitely buy again.
Steel construction is smooth and free of typical sharp edges. Steel parts fit together flawlessly. Powder coat paint is even and bright. All welds have good penetration, and are free of defects. The mdf table top is truly 1.25". It is flat enough for any wood joinery and assembly (less than 5/1000 " over 3').I bought this bench for electronics testing and assembly. Finished the mdf with a medium stain and three coats of varnish (<15$). This saved me 100's over the typical maple butcher's block. Very nice to be able to pick the type of material for the table top.The pictures do not show the metal stringer running under the length of the table top from leg to leg (not actually atached to legs). Nice feature to preserve the flatness of the table under load and over time.

Nice bench - horrible packaging
Metal work is nice quality as is bench top. Shame both arrived dinged-up because of poor packaging. The legs were inside one thin cardboard box with zero other packaging. The box was ripped to shreds by the time it arrived and the powder coat scraped off in several places. The top had some foam in the corners but it was totally inadequate for such a large heavy item. The bench-top arrived with a big ding out of afront corner (see picture)

Sturdy, easy to assemble
This is a sturdy workbench. The particle board top is reinforced with a metal bar on the underside that did not show up on the photos in the product listing. Assembly was easy. Phillips head screws were already drilled into the underside of the top. The legs slip right on and are secured by the tightened screws. Adjusting the legs and mounting the cross brace are a piece of cake. I took one star off because the top had a couple of small divots on the front facing side. This side is rounded and the divots look like something that probably happened at the factory. It did not make sense to send the top back over this, and a small partial refund wasn't worth the time and hassle. This table shipped in two boxes - one with the table top and some hardware, and the other with the legs. Only one tracking number turned up in my Amazon order information - customer service insisted that was correct. UPS was able to provide the second tracking number.

No worth the money....
Poor workmanship and quality. The table top was damaged in arrival. The finish was very rough so clearly no sanding or finishing had taken place. The color is completely different from picture. It's actually a very light grey. I am also missing the support that links leg to leg. And the hardware for it. To aid in making assembly easy they pre-installed screws on under side of table. Half were damaged as if they had been yanked out.

good solid bench at a good price.
$100 bench that costs $121 to ship. The bench is heavy. It's 100lbs and shipping by freight company on a wood pallet. The pallet weighs over 50lbs but keeps the bench protected. The bench is a simple design. Sturdy but simple. 4 big screws on each side holding the legs to the bottom of the table. There is a cross brace under the wood to prevent sag over time. The legs on each side are bolted from 2 pieces. Top and bottom that allows height adjustments and held together with 2 bolts on each side. The rear brace prevents the legs from wobbling. The table is pretty high quality. It's for me the perfect width at 60 inches. I found 48 to be too narrow and 72 too long.I bought from BenchPro because that is who made the bench. They also will adjust shipping charges depending on where you are. If you are nearby, you can even go pick up in person and not pay any shipping charges.I would recommend this to anyone.

Very poor packaging and missing parts
Very poor packaging. Bench top was basically flopping around inside a box that was too big with disintegrated corner protections so all four corners were damaged. The second package with the leg assembly was missing all of the nuts, bolts and washers required to put it together and there were no assembly instructions. The bench meets my functional needs, but I would not recommend it due to the shoddy packaging AND MISSING PARTS.

Great value for the bench
Great bench for sure! Very easy to put together - took only 10 minutes or so even by myself. Strong and stable. Would have liked to have had other options for the paint color besides gray. Was told by Amazon that such a request would be honored but in the end, there was a mistake and other paint colors (while a no-cost option direct from BenchPro) was not a SKU available from Amazon. I expected that - as the total cost (essentially with free shipping) was substantially less with Amazon than direct. Either way - extremely happy. I also ordered a power strip to go with this bench and it lines up perfectly - Tripp Lite 20 Outlet Bench & Cabinet Power Strip, 60 in. Length, 15ft Cord with 5-15P Plug (PS6020).

Looks great and is sturdy
Works great. Took off a star because I, like others have written got one with a gouge out of the wood. Getting the top on took a lot of stream of consciousness swearing before I got it on.
