First set had 7 broken balls due to poor packaging; should have been in a box not a mailing envelope. Replacement set are OK, but again I mention packaging. They should be packed in a box.

I ordered these in the small, champagne color for my small,, white 3ft Christmas tree that I keep in my bedroom.When they arrived, I was a little worried that they may be broken because they only came in a padded envelope, not a box. Sure enough, I opened the package and one ornament was broken. Because it was only one, I let it slide. These weren’t expensive anyway, and the color was perfect, so I decided not to really care about the one. I threw away the broken pieces and dumped the rest out to start hanging on the tree. A couple were knotted together, but it was easy to fix and didn’t take too much time. They look great on the tree (and Though I don’t have a star, I found a butterfly of a simile color to put on top (: ) but they look good whether the tree is lit or not. I wasn’t sure if they came with string or a hook to hang it up with, but they did end up coming with a gold-ish colored string.Another thing: about half of the ornaments are the shiny ones. The matte and the sparkly ones account for the other half. Was a little confused when I first noticed this, but they look great together nonetheless.Overall, a fairly decent buy. Just really disappointed that one was broken. I’ve been seeing that throughout the reviews now that I have them, and really wish the company would just ship them in a box, even if it made them a tiny bit more expensive.

They are exactly what you’d expect. 2 of mine didn’t have the top piece so I can’t hang them but overall, for the money, they are fine.
