To me, this is hands down the best form of Combos. It drives me crazy that no stores stock it! (All you can get by me are the pretzel or pizza types.) This is absolute perfect simplicity in snacks. A nice easy version of cheese and crackers - what could be better? Not too sweet, but filling enough for a snack. And if you want a treat, pick up a pack of sliced pepperoni and wrap each individual Combo in a slice before eating - great gameday snack!

Our grandson recently had a really bad cold/flu. He loves getting packages in the mail. Since he has a gazillion toys we decided to put together a "care package" for him with snacks, juice, freezer pops, etc.He's 6 years old and LOVES COMBOS! Amazon had a great price so in the order it went! He was so happy to get 18 bags of Combos at one time. He didn't eat them all while he was sick so when he went back to school our daughter put them in his lunch box for a snack. Perfect size - and his day was "perked up" when he saw that little bag of Combos!

I purchased these because I used to get them back in summer camp when I was a kid and remember them fondly. They are a bit different than I recall, but the experience is about the same.They are salty on the outside with a mild pretzel flavor, they have a bit of crunch but are mostly crumbly and dry. The filling has a stiff, slightly grainy canned-cheez-whiz-like consistency, and I would say the flavor is most reminiscent of tomato paste, not much in the way of cheese even, much less basil. Basically you are getting an extraordinarily abbreviated pizza experiences from these, if that's what you are looking for.However, they are easy to eat, and a single bag is actually pretty satisfying for a grown adult. So if you like the concept, but want to skip the pizza flavor, I'd recommend trying one of the other varieties. You aren't going to beat this deal, two boxes for $18, double the value of the usual offering, so if that's what you want stick with this one.All in all, these aren't for me, and the family wasn't too interested in them either. Snacks rarely make it more than a week in our household and these are still hanging out two weeks later. So I think I'll distribute them to unsuspecting coworkers via the common room at work.Wouldn't recommend.
