101 Movie Hits for Alto Sax

This has a wide variety of songs we know and don't know. It isn't for a very beginning player, but works well for those who are a bit more sure of their notes and ready to play some familiar songs. The notes are simple to read as well.

Good music but my son never uses it though.

This is a wonderful book for an Alto Sax player. Has a GREAT variety of songs some are challenging and others are a bit easier. My son LOVES this and it has popular well known songs which encourages my son to play and practice more. He loves the song "Happy" and is really trying to get the song done but he is a relatively new player so it will take him some time. I am so proud him and I am so glad that books such as this are available. The price was right and there really are exactly 101 Movie Hits (all familiar ones at that)!

This was a gift for our grandson for Christmas who is a music major. He plays the alto sax and said these books will give him many nights of great music.

Son says good for beginners. Too easy for him, but nicely printed for reading notes

Daughter is in 7th grade & it was a struggle to get her to enjoy much less even practice her saxophone. Now she loves playing! And we love listening!

My teen is enjoying this book! In band she's often playing supporting notes and not the main melody, so she is loving this!

I bought this book with others in the series for my teenage son who played saxophone for a year in band. This one is consistently a favourite for him and has some great themes and songs that people from many generations would recognize.Including songs that span generations of movies, it gives a good variety and there should be something for everyone. Among my son’s favourites are Disney songs from Frozen, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas and Pinocchio as well as the theme to Star Trek and Titanic’s My Heart Will Go On. There are also older favourites such as Jailhouse Rock, The Pink Panther theme and Born Free and classic 80s tracks such as Against All Odds, Danger Zone and Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now. None of the songs are too challenging and are fun to reproduce.This book has so much variety that I recommend you look at the picture for the full list of songs, but with something for everyone, it is a fun book if you love movies.

A great bargain for movie lovers! The price I paid worked out to about 20 cents per song. Notes are written clearly and are of a good size for easy reading.

Some sheets don’t match with others from internet/other books.
