Great Monitor for a Very Bright Office
This review is for the GC2870C. There are hundreds of reviews, but I wanted to add my perspective. After researching monitors over several weeks, I bought the BenQ for a very bright office at work. My IT department is the worst because they just don't care what workers need; I was using very old 19 inch Dells with terrible viewing angles and low resolution. They also supply very glossy Dell monitors that are practically unusable in a room with a window. What an upgrade is this BenQ monitor! Since I bought this with my own personal funds for use at work, price was an issue, and this monitor for around $160 fit the budget. My office is extremely bright, with a south-facing aspect in a very sunny climate. The south wall of my office is 100% window horizontally, and vertically, there is only three feet at the bottom that is wall and not window. So it's very, very sunny. I do have a black screen I can pull down, but it doesn't black out the room and the sun still shines through it. Plus who wants to sit in a black room for eight to 10 hours a day? This monitor is fabulous in such a bright setting, even without the shade closed. There almost no glare, and images and text are crisp and easily viewed. The wide viewing angle helps tremendously, too. I was having terrible eye strain and headaches with my last monitors due to the glare and the awful viewing angle. So far after half a day, I've noticed a huge difference. I'm no longer squinting to read text.Keep in mind that this model (GC2870H) does NOT have speakers. Not an issue for me in an office where I use headphones.Overall, this is a great value and works well in a very bright office setting using a web browser and office applications. (I played HD video to test it out, and that looks great, too!)

Great Monitor for the Price
I'm not a computer whiz by any stretch of the imagination, but I am a bit of an audio/video enthusiast. I purchased this 28" monitor to hook up to my new computer after my last computer of 8 years bit the dust. The Good:Colors are mostly accurate with only a slight bluish tint depending on what mode you are inWake time is fast (within 3-5 seconds)Minimal power consumption due to LED backlightingGreat size for the priceThe Bad:The only negative experience I've had with this monitor was a problem with it reading the input into HDMI 1 slot. After I initially hooked it up it worked flawlessly for about a week. Then one day I turned on my CPU and there was no picture. I turned off the monitor and turned it back on... nothing happened. The monitor searched for inputs multiple times before going to a blank screen. After several trial and error methods to fix I finally unplugged everything from the computer, the wall, and switched to a new HDMI cable. This still did not fix the problem. I went back to the original setup with the original HDMI cable and miraculously the picture came on again. To this day I'm not sure why the screen went out for a short period of time. It could have been a problem with the computer (not likely), or it could have just been a fluke. It has worked perfectly since then and I'm happy with my purchase. This screen is BIG for a small home office, and it eliminated the need for 2 different screens and a bulky dual screen mount.

Great monitor -- does not work with all graphics cards
This is an excellent monitor (I am not a gamer, so I cannot speak to gaming). Great color. Great resolution. Fast enough response time for watching 1 minute stock charts. I'm not as fond of the Eye Care feature as I thought I would be (and the reason I bought BenQ). I like the little app called f.lux much better. Also, beware, the BenQ monitors do not work with all graphics cards. I just bought a 2nd BenQ monitor and this is when I realized that the EVGA GT 710 2GB DDR3 64bit Single Slot, Low Profile 02G-P3-2713-KR graphics card, which supports 3 monitors (3 ports), does not work with BenQ. It's too late to return this 27" (which I've been plugging into a USB port with an adapter), but I'll definitely return the new 24" that I just received since it doesn't work with my graphics card. All that might sound confusing, so I'll say that I have 4 monitors, 1 Dell, 1 ViewSonic (both work great with the graphics card), a Gateway that just died. Those were the 3 I had plugged into my graphics card. The BenQ was in the USB port. 2nd BenQ to replace dead Gateway. Now I know that I need a different brand than BenQ. Sigh.

The Perfect Monitor.....For Me
I rarely leave reviews. I only leave reviews when something exceeds my expectations. This monitor has done just that.I primarily use my monitors for web development, mobile app development, web browsing, and reading lots of technical articles. I do very little gaming, but in those other categories, the picture is bright and crisp. I first bought one for my son who does game and he loves it. But he's not uber-focused on FPS or a hard-core gamer at all, and neither am I, so I really don't know how great this monitor is with respect to gaming.I was concerned that 1920 x 1080 spread over 27" might make text or anything on the screen to be grainy. I suppose if I sit super close, text can be, but at 2 to 3 ft away it suits my needs. Videos and photos are sharp for me as well. I'm a week or two in to using it and I haven't had to make any adjustments so far. I'm using it as it was setup right out of the box. I have a dual-boot OSX and WIN10 machine and the monitor does well on both OSes.

Works great for me
Some reviewers report that this isn't a very bright monitor, but mine is quite bright - I actually had to turn the brightness down a bit. And mine does indeed have speakers - they reproduce the high end fine, but don't expect a lot of bottom end to the sound - if you want great sound, you'd be better off to use external speakers. As far as reliability goes, I can't say yet - I've only had it a couple of weeks - we'll have to wait and see how long it lasts, but all looks good so far.

It's ok.
I've had this monitor for a about a month now and it already has 3 dead pixels. Takes forever to turn back on, and so far has not been worth the money. There's a lot of better monitors on the market for the price. It is very bright though and has dark blacks and bright whites. It was definitely an upgrade from my previous monitor but it hasn't been the best experience.
