Amazing Pot
This is an amazing pot that is both beautiful to look at and highly efficient at cooking. I had read that the pot was heavy, but frankly, I don’t feel that it is as heavy as others I’ve been using. Rather, it feels firm, professional and of the perfect volume for soups, stews, sauces and the like. Also read other reviews saying that the lid was terrible, but that is not my experience. I found the lid to have a professional feel and it fit perfectly with the pot. Very easy to clean too, so I’m very happy with my purchase.

High Quality, Well Crafted
My go-to cookware is usually All-Clad. However, the All-Clad saucier was way too expensive and I found this one on Amazon. I was impressed with the weight of it and the fact that the cladding was completely through (not just a disk on the bottom of the pan). I like the slope of the sides and the handle is at an angle that fits comfortably without having to reach. If you make a lot of sauces or gravies, a saucier pan is an absolute MUST! The sloped sides allow you to stir and whisk without sauces getting stuck in 90 degree corners and burning or clumping.I understand that pans and pots of this quality are a bit pricey - however, as someone who has cooked for over 50 years, I can truthfully say that pans and pots like this are the LAST ones that you will ever need. They literally last a lifetime as long as you care for them properly.Because the cladding is all the way up the sides (and this is important no matter what brand you buy), the pot will always heat evenly and disperse the heat throughout whatever you are cooking. This makes a HUGE difference in the ease and quality of your cooking. I give this pan an A+

One of my best buys.
This pan was an investment for me. I've always wanted a dedicated sauce pan and I finally took the jump. While I'm a sucker for pretty things, this time I went for function over form and got the pan that promised the best function at the best price. This thing is amazing. I can hold a consistent, gentle, even heat for as long as I like. I've never had such perfect control. I made caramel and it was *absolutely* perfect. For the first time in my life, it wasn't a struggle to maintain the temperature. The stainless steel is bulletproof and so smooth. Cleanup has been a breeze and I don't say that lightly. This pot has convinced me to go for quality more often. When you boil it down, our cooking accessories are our tools and great tools make the craft SO much easier. She looks fairly plain, but I love her so much she's earned an honored spot on the pot rack.

Very High Quality Pan
I love the quality and comfort of this Misen pan. I purchased a larger stock-pot from them and absolutely loved it. So, I decided to splurge on the sauce pan. This is a great pan. I love the size and shape. It works great on our glass-top electric stove.

My cook everything in it pot
It's large enough and small enough at the same time. I make sauce with it, I cook my noodles/pasta in it, I cook vegetables in it. Great quality and not heavy for its size and material.

The curved bottom makes these pans easier to cook with, use with a wisk, and to clean
We have used a set of Misen pans for a couple of years. They are truly excellent, just as good as Alclad pans we have, but more affordable. We decided to replace some old sauce pans that had non-stick interiors which were failing. Be aware that a typical 2 or 3 quart sauce pan is taller and more narrow than these saucier pans. Your steamer insert might need to change. Having no corners on the bottom is a boon for both stirring and cleanup. We now have both the 2qt and 3qt size. Years of fault-free use lead us to highly recommend Misen pans. They are an excellent value.

Perfect pan
I love this saucier. I should have bought it years ago. I didn’t know how much I needed it until I got it. The quality is great and it’s incredibly versatile.
