Great helmet
If you’re looking for a quality helmet look no further. One of the best helmets on the market at this price. If you have a bike with an up right position this helmet is perfect

Nice brain bucket!
Using the manufacturer's sizing guide, I ordered a large helmet. I guess the fit is correct, but it's pretty snug on my head. My ears take a bit of a beating when I slide it on or off. It does feel secure though, so I guess that's good. The build quality is very nice, and it comes with a detachable anti-fog inner shield that I haven't yet installed. I added a Sena 50R communicator to it without problems. It's nice that the inner padding can be removed and then snapped back into place. The top vents do a nice job of controlling air flow. The chin vent is hard to assess as I have a windshield on my bike. The optics of the face shield are very good - almost no distortion - and the positioning cogs are very positive, so it stays where you put it.Shoei makes a high-end product. I liked it well enough to buy a second in medium for passengers. I prefer a full-face helmet to one with a movable chin piece; I am skeptical of the structural integrity of modular lids. Anyway, I'm happy with it - probably the best helmet I've ever owned.

Very nice helmet
At times, the sum of the parts is greater than the whole. At least, that's how it seems when rating the components (comfort, value for money, weight) versus the product. This is my third Shoei helmet. I also have, and have owned or tried, a variety of helmets by other manufacturers. There's a reason I return to this one. Quality. Quality and security. To date, I'm enjoying this helmet. I'll enjoy it more once it's broken in and I've progressed beyond the "my ears are going to rip off" when removing the helmet phase (a skull cap, balaclava or comparable covering will alleviate this malady), but it is on course to become a favorite. The helmet I purchased before this one is the Shoei RF-1100. Prior to purchasing this helmet, I considered the 1200, along with the air and helmets by several other manufacturers. After a great deal of research, I (obviously) chose this model. I'm happy with the purchase.Presently, I primarily ride bikes that have a design best complimented by an upright riding position (classic, standard, street, et al). This helmet works well with that. The RF series definitely benefits from a more aggressive sitting position. Anyhoo, I could go on, but I'm not being paid to write this. This helmet is a quality product. I recommend trying on helmets prior to investing in one. While doing so, remember that quality doesn't cost, it pays. Also, protect those ears.

Good helmet but runs a bit small.
Good helmet, more quality than you would at this price range. Does not feel plasticky or make squeaky noises. Padding feels nice but could improve a little but at this price can't really ask for more. I bought an XL thinking it would fit based on the size chart. But I am a heavy guy and my cheeks and the back of my head are a bit more bulked up than a normal person because of my weight. Went up a size and the xxl is barley any larger than then xxl. I guess the next larger size is the xxxl but could bot find at the same price and went with the valiant xxxl which is great. Other than the sizing is a great helmet. Worth mentioning I also have a Shoei RF-sr in XXL and fits perfectly so it has to do with the sizing in this brand. They run about 1 and a half size small but quality it is very good.

Doesn’t fit my head.
Great helmet if it fit my head shape.

wonderful helmet for the money
the size, fit, vents, everything... was "just right". It felt like the helmet was tailored for me.with some research you'll find it to be one of the best helmets for the money. surpassed really only by the RF-1400.

Best helmet... ever?
After years of riding and then a hiatus ... when I got a motorcycle I picked up a LS2 at my local dealer.. buying into 'gotta try it on" and just wanting to ride the day I bought the bike. I see why people ride with ear plugs with helmets like that. Any way on to the Shoei... within a few months of buying that I needed a low noise helmet that fit. Shoei had always been good to me back in the day ... I have a VERY large head (size 8 hat) Shoei xxl fits like a glove.. I looked up "quietest helmet" on Google etc.. and this helmet did not come up (new model?) but IT SHOULD. Night and day difference .. I can hear my radio / communications unit at 70 MPH. Very quiet helmet. Air Flow - incredible flow through the top vents ... best of any helmet literally ever. Everything feels quality and no head aches. The LS2 at xxxl gave me a head ache after about 1 to 1.5 hours. This helmet I can wear all day... Of course the main reason to buy may be the snell rating (safety) this helmet carries that cheap china helmets do not. Anyway very happy with it, superb fit, finish, comfort, and a quiet ride... it is certainly the best helmet I have ever had.

Standard high quality fron Shoei
I have had al lot oof helmets, most of them Shoei's. Needed a new helmet for use on my Harley and the flashy designs on my sport bike lids were too much. Although less expensive than my others, it is still built with high Shoei standards and fits my intermediate oval head perfectly.
