Broke and can't even get anyone out here to look at it.

I would pay every dollar I spent on this thing again for it to have never been in my life. It's not a true heater like I was led to believe (relies on outside temperature so in colder months, useless) but I won't put that on the manufacturer because I purchased it from a pool company. My issue with Pentair is they think their menus and remote apps are "intuitive" when they make not one lick of sense and there is no intelligible reference manual, zero customer support outside bankers' hours, and pool/pump service companies are as stumped as you're likely to be trying to troubleshoot on your own.The lack of any customer support over the weekend is insane. They could ONLY offer customer support on the weekends and that would make sense, but having a "call us Monday" message on the days 100% of working adults look forward to enjoying their pools is inexcusable.Don't talk yourself into buying if it's somehow the least-bad-reviewed option for a heater/chiller. It's going to make your quality of life worse to have it on your property.

Seems all of Pentair products for a pool are junk, my pool is 4 years old, and I've replaced pump, chlorinator and now I'm dealing with the heat pump.

When it works it does its job heating and cooling. Every year I have to have some part replaced. A couple of sensors plus the main controller board which was around $ 400 installed. Now this year its going into an alarm failure so have to have the service men out again. Come on guys( Pentair) for almost $4500.00 installed you would think they would have better parts inside.

Had this model installed with my pool 3 years ago. It has never worked consistently. Already fixed once under the warranty and now it is not working again. Every time they come they want $175 service call fee. I would never purchase this product again.
