Works super well and keeps ice for a long time!!
Works really well. Appreciate that it came with a universal pad because after gimping around on crutches because of my knee, my shoulder is going to need this thing. Only thing I would change is the size of the universal pad, so it could more fully wrap my knee. But it may be wrapped fully, for all I can see. It’s heavily wrapped by dressings still so I can’t really see. Still numb, but just today starting to feel the greatness of the cold it’s been pumping around the site of the surgery. It’s a solid running, great machine. Nice design and you can’t accidentally spray water everywhere if you start it before it’s connected to the pad. It’s got quick connects which are great. Just need a small dish towel nearby for when you disconnect. Minimal spillage. Love this device. Glad my wife talked me into it, rather than the gravity fed versions out there. Not everyone has a place to sit that’s lower than where they can put their ice machine. This one works great and really keeps ice for a long time. This morning, we checked and last nights ice was still good

Works great, once
Love the product the 1st time I used it. After that, the ice melted & cold did not stay cold for even 1 hour. Tonight, as I attached the pad to the hose, the piece to connect snapped right off. Seems to be cheap & shoddily made. $150 for a single mom on disability, in a wheelchair & unable to work, is an extravagant purchase for nothing. Couldn’t be more dissatisfied

Updated review: pump stopped working after 2 weeks
UPDATE: I wrote a glowing review for this device initially... it was fantastic while it worked, but then the motor for the pump simply stopped surfing at all. It makes no noise whatsoever, though the green LED on the device is on, so the pump should be operating. Search these reviews... you'll see a number of people whose pump died on them shortly after purchase.Original review:I bought this unit to keep my foot cool in the weeks following a surgery I had to fix a broken heel (calcaneus) bone. I bought the ankle/foot wrap attachment as well, but used the universal wrap until the specialized one for my foot arrived. It can be a little finicky... Be careful to make sure that the water is actually flowing through whatever wrap you have attached. If you put the wrap on too tight, you can inadvertently choke off the flow. I rarely have problems now that I'm used to it, and it's no big deal at all, but something to be aware of.The little connectors to attach different wraps are great, and haven't leaked at all. Switching out wraps is a breeze, since the water tubes automatically close off when you disconnect a wrap.Overall, I would highly recommend this unit! It's doing a world of good for my foot, and I've been running it all day every day for about 2 weeks now without trouble. I have not tested out the heating function so far, but look forward to trying that out as well.

Great product
I used this machine for about a week and the pump stopped working. I asked for a replacement because I really enjoyed the comfort this machine provided. They send a replacement a few days later without any delays. So, I am fair about things because sometimes these things happen. I would buy another if needed. I did by most of all the extra pads for this machine I could find here. Hope that helps anyone interested in this product looking to buy.

In my opinion:
Ordered on 6-24 received on 6-27.I will start by listing what I am not able to confirm or deny. I have not used the cold setting so I can't speak on that yet. I have only had it a short time and used it twice so I can't speak on the longevity of it.What I do know is, the heat setting is incredible! I was worried that I would have to put hot water in to get quality warmth and I can assure you that you do not have to start with warm or hot water. I started today with room temp water from the previous use and this machine does heat the water by itself. It may take 5-10 minutes to fully heat but it was no big deal for me.To me it's as hot as any heating pad I've used before. The pad itself has two sides, one with a plastic feel and one with a cloth feel. I'm not sure if it's recommended to only use one of the two sides but my recommendation is to use the plastic side to get the most out of the temp and use the cloth side if it's too hot to handle. The cloth side essentially feels like using a heating pad with a cloth as a buffer. The top knob is (off, cold, hot). The bottom knob is (continuous,off,15mins up to 60mins timer). Once you get to the timer settings on the bottom knob it sounds like a kitchen timer being set lol. It seems that you could personalize it, for example ~20mins.It has no handle, which is not important for me since I'll be using it in the same place and I don't forsee having to refill it very often. It's essentially a little drink cooler with tubes and a pump but it has a great latch on it. As for the tubes themselves, their are very thick and sturdy with plastic tubing encased with thick rubber-like stuff.Lastly, there was something that surprised me. Sometimes I feel a pumping sensation coming from where the tubes enter the pad. It's from water "glugging" into the pad. It's not unbearable but simply something unexpected that I can easily get used to. It isn't being caused from the tubes being bent in the wrong way or anything like that. It just happens sometimes. Please note there are additional pad types that can be found from multiple brands with a search, ranging between $20 - $50. I haven't bought any yet but hope to try them soon.I'm enjoying this very much and recommend it for anyone looking for a cost efficient (in comparison) solution to get the hot/cold therapy they need.
