First off, I own quite a few Bento boxes from metal ones to plastic ones. Although this one only has two compartments, it does come with two small jars with covers the thing I like about metal bento boxes is that they keep food warm if you prefer to travel with hot food, the plastic ones fail to do this. This bento box seals, very well, and prevents food from spilling over into the other compartment. It does what it supposed to, and it keeps my food warm.

This 3 container set is made from heavy stainless steel and well made rubber to keep food inside, not out. The main piece has a large compartment that will hold a whole sandwich or Uncrustable. This was key for us, as that is the go-to lunch for our son. The small compartment has ample space for chips, fruit, veggies, or mini muffins. The included 2 cups can also work for these purposes. The silicone lids are tight fitting and do a good job sealing from leaks (another common issue for us). The main container has a latch with matching silicone band to avoid scratches. It latches well, and is easy enough for our 7 year old, though I could see younger kids having a bit of an issue understanding how it fastens without a little explanation and practice. Not that it is not insulated or vacuum sealed, double walled, or alike. This means it's not going to retain heat or cold like your favorite reusable cup (nor does it claim to). If that's OK with you, then this is a fantastic product. We are very happy with this set.

Unlike others, I don’t find the latch difficult to open, so I guess I’m lucky. I searched high and low for the perfect lunch containers for my kids, and thought I’d found the perfect ones. Not so. Containers may be good for sandwiches but by lunchtime, any hot meals are already cold (and we don’t live in a cold climate). They feel more like tin than stainless steel. Very disappointing for the price - they’re just regular food tins.

The material is very high in quality so it made everything too heavy for our 4.5 yrs old son to carry to school. It’s good for an adult though. Unfortunately we had to return it.We got another brand from eBays called West Bros. It’s much lighter in weight.

Sturdy and easy to clean! The latch is a little stiff, but that’s because the silicone lid/gasket needs to seal properly. If the latch was “loose”, it would probablyIndicate a bad seal.I would definitely market this at adults, not young kids. But my 7yo wants to take it!This isn’t insulated, and there’s no indication that it would be. This isn’t going to regulate your food’s temperature. That’s not its purpose. It’s to transport food. I have a mini fridge at work, so cold isn’t a problem. If you want to take hot food, buy something designed for that purpose. In fact, this brand makes a couple thermal products.Great portion size, and sturdy!

This is a great little bento box! My son was getting upset with his other bento boxes the the jelly from his sandwich was getting all over his other foods- this does not do that, everything stays separated and clean. It's not insulated which is a bummer, because the added weight of an ice pack is a bit heavy, but he doesn't seem to mind.

This stainless steel bento box is tough and durable! I can stand on it with all of my weight on one foot and it does not even give. It closes air tight with the lock bar (might be difficult for small kids to use). The two separate canisters are perfect for a side and a condiment. I love that the silicone top is simple to remove so that you can clean the box in the dishwasher.

Did not expect the box to be so heavy or as small as it is. I ordered blue, got purple. Not quite a male's choice. Made of stainless steel. Does have strong seal with metal flip clasp. Comes with two containers. This is great for a little tiger. But not for a teen or adult. And I got this for an adult, so I'm disappointed.

Me gusto bastante, esta super bonito y de buen tamaño, ni chico ni grande, excelente para el lunch de mi hija, aunque si creo será un poco complicado para que lo abra.
