This ladle is solid, the woodgrain details are phenomenal and it looks & feels like it will last forever. The handle is thicker than others I’d bought in the past and it’s a lot more comfortable to work with. I also ordered some conditioning oil to keep it looking amazing. Definitely a keeper! Get one, you’ll LOVE it!

When I saw this item I knew I needed to add it to my kitchen utensils. It is everything I was hoping for - beautiful wood, sturdy, easy to grip. It's a wonderful ladle that I purchased specifically for entertaining. I thought it would bring happiness to those who used it to scoop out a delicious soup from the large bowl of steaming first course soup. I have accomplished my goal! I had high expectations given the price and the hype. It lived up to it. It feels smooth and dense in my hand. The bowl shaped serving end is well designed and what I was looking for. I believe this spoon will out live me and become a heirloom for one of my kids. Can't wait to make some chili and stew with it!

Wow wow wow. Arrived sooner than expected, like the very next day. Wrapped beautifully and when you unwrap it, it takes your breath away! What a beautiful kitchen soup spoon. And directions on how to care for it are simple. So very happy with this! Get it! You will not be sorry!!

This one wasn’t sanded.I love Earlywood utensils, have always found them to be comfortable to use, sturdy, and excellent utensils for their tasks. . I was buying them from their website before they were introduced to Amazon.I’ve gifted a dozen or more I like them so much. I keep 6 Sticks in my carousel, two large serving spoons and tasting spoons. They’re really fabulous things to use, and, well, better than any other wording things, metal, silicone or plastic. Usually.My other ladle chipped after a few years of faithful use so had to replace it. I lack the words to express my disappointment in the finishing!Subpar.

This has to be the best investment I made for my Le Creuset Dutch Oven. I make a lot of soups and stews during winter and this spoon/ladle has been an excellent piece for serving. It doesn't scratch my dutch oven ,that's the reason I looked for a wooden ladle. The size is excellent for serving quickly and efficiently. I love how beautiful the wood looks and it's very sturdy.Excellent workmanship.I highly recommend this.

This ladle is absolutely top notch. Makes all the other ones you'll find look like junk. Exceptionally well made....solid. I'll buy more from this company for sure. You definitely will get what you pay for and more. My daughter spotted it in the kitchen the other day and loved it. Far superior to any other wooden ladle I've ever seen or used. Beautifully hand crafted, absolutely a "go to" for any kitchen. Especially sought out a USA made product, wanted to have a solid wood, not bamboo! Coming from Red Lodge, Montana I have this mental picture of folks carving and whiddling away on a frozen in long winter's night.
