Koss Ear Buds Model iL200k KTC
Reprise 2017I bought these back in 2014I read on another review about them being a little heavy, probably due to the aluminum. After I changed the ear bud piece(double budding buds) to a smaller size they fit in my ears much better. The memory foam buds feel much better in the ears. You can hear the highs are okay, the bass is very good. The volume(up & down) control worked good on my BlackBerry 9900(only the stop & play button works on my Android). Android cell phones were not even made when these ear buds were first put on the market. To answer a phone call while they are still plugged in worked very good for both types of phones I mentioned. This model was only made for Apple when these first came out. Koss does make good quality sound headphones, that's why I wanted to try out this model Ear Bud plus Microphone to use with my cell phone, I have NOT had anyone say to me while on the phone..."What did you say" only "where are you I can hear some birds"...lol I was outside at the time...:)

Koss delivers 🏆.
A high fidelity, full-bodied sound at a value. Koss makes a premium product (I also own the PortaPro). I recommend these. They sound better than the other buds I've owned for more money. The rubber buds are another reason these are a winner. They kill external sound. They are very comfortable, soft and with plenty of tacky grip to stay planted in the ear.I just returned a set of "xtra bass" phones made by a major brand. This product simply blows those away. With these Koss' you're getting a superior product for under $50.Weaknesses are minor. The headphone plug sticks straight out (not at 90°), so that could lead to broken cord. But they have a limited lifetime warranty, if that happens, I'll send them in for a replacement or repair. The microphone controls have three buttons. Only the middle one works on my android, but the other three work on my iPhone.

Would be great, but even with the largest pad they are loose.
They look great and provide great sound and noise cancellation, but the pads provided with the device are not large enough to keep them in my medium sized ear.

Great product for the price!
I upgraded to these from Skullcandy Ink'd buds. These little guys are awesome. Quality feel from the cables to the ear buds. They have grooves in the buds so they fit together perfectly for carrying. They did not come with a carrying case, which was not in the description but I was a little surprised that Koss wouldn't provide one, since these generally retail for $70.Sound quality is great, there is depth to the music, and it has a bass feel without vibrating the buds like my old set. The noise cancellation works almost too well, I cannot hear the person sitting next to me if they talk and I have music playing. Without music playing, you can't make out what people are saying - so if this is a factor for you, these are awesome for noise cancellation. There is no electrical feedback and the speakers have the soft white film over them to filter the sound. Does an awesome job!5/5 rating. Even with the lack of carrying case, these are such a great deal for $25. They will get dirty fast, so rub them down with a damp rag and you're good to go. The cables remind me of Apple ear buds/charging cables, so they will hopefully not splinter like Apple's does. Would absolutely buy these again.

Terrific "bang for the buck"
At the price you can typically find these ($17-$25), they are a great, great value. The noise isolation works well, the frequency response is good, and the bass response is excellent. The 3 different sizes of user-replaceable buds help ensure you'll be able to find a suitable fit. The medium buds work well for me, and are very comfortable, including when worn for extended periods. The SPL (sensitivity) on these is a mite on the low side, so if you're used to the dynamite blasting volume of Apple's standard-issue buds, you'll be hard-pressed to match the eardrum-shattering volume with these. If you don't need a mic, the KEB30s have a 9dB higher SPL with the same frequency response and noise-isolating buds.I'm very happy with these. At the rate I lose earphones (one or two pair a year, it seems), replacing these at $25 a pop isn't so hard to take.Recommended without reservation.

Great for voice, mediocre for music
These headphones are a mixed bag. The microphone works great, and I've even used it successfully with Siri while riding a bike. The controls are easy to use without looking. For voice calls, the sounds is excellent. For music however, they are tinny and lack range. Highs and lows are missing, and cymbals sound almost fake. So they're great for use on phone calls, but not so great for music.Update:After letting these burn in longer, the sound has improved, especially in the high end. The low end is still lacking, but I now find them acceptable for music listening on the go.

they feel great!
These ear-buds are so very comfortable. They don't drill down into your ears and they don't flap around either. I love the way they connect together to make it easier to store. The sound quality is average but since they are so comfortable I can overlook that. The sound does tend toward the low end of the sound spectrum so if u love bass you will love these headphones. The are clear enough for this price range and they have a good build quality. If you are an audiophile you will be dissapointed but for most of us I believe these headphones are a good compromise between cost and quality.

Well made ear buds
I like that they lock together, I feel like they won't be subject to as much wear and tear that way. The cords don't tangle or hold creases. They are easy to put in, but the smallest size of buds they come with are a tad too big for my ears, so they tend to work loose a lot. It's not quite as easy to feel the buttons on the controller as it is with some other designs. I can't intelligently comment on the audio quality other than to say they sound fine for audiobooks.

Koss, should be good.
Great sound. The only thing I'm worrying about is the thin wire which gives the impression of not being very strong.

Made poorly
This product has a really huge flaw. Instead of using a reflective plastic for the metal parts, actual metal was used and it's too heavy. Because of the weight, the earbuds fall out of your ear and it's very annoying. The sound quality is nothing special either. I would recommend not buying these because they're not worth it.

Donc 2/5.

Above average in price range + lifetime warranty
The sound quality of these headphones is above average for the price range. Paired with a sturdy build, and a limited lifetime warranty available in Canada ($10 to mail in your broken pair), this makes this product a great buy.
