QSC TouchMix-30 Pro Professional Digital Mixer

OMG, i didn't know something so small could do so much! I play guitar as a hobby and have been putting together a cover band to play metallica and the like. I am so super impressed with all of the features on this thing. It is so compact yet so versatile and functional. The recording quality I have got from our rehearsals so far is awesome! I am no expert on this type of stuff, but I just can't believe how much technology has changed! I remember my tascam minidisk recorder from about 20 years ago was about the same size and this, and all it could do was record 4 tracks! This thing can record 30 at a time! I am using a USB flash drive to record on, so far so good. The feedback wizard and room tuning wizards are awesome. I can't wait to use this for a live show!Edit: I just recorded my band rehearsal on a USB stick that was suggested on the QSC site. Everything worked perfectly. We recorded the drums with a single overhead mic and a kick mic, then went direct from two Line 6 Helix's for the two guitars, preamp out from a bass head for the bass, and direct with lead and backing vocals. We use a pretty decent PA and speaker system. For the first time, we could actually hear ourselves during the rehearsal! (the drummer used in ear monitors from an aux mis out of the mixer, the rest of us did not). I then spent some time editing the EQ, compressor, and gates on each channel. I did a mixdown right on the mixer itself, and the results (after some tweaking) are truly spectacular. I will post a recording soon. This is a real game changer especially for amateur bands like mine.

This Mixer was the easiest to learn. QSC has put a lot of time and effort in producing tutorials that are clear and concise. The presets are pretty much on point, so very little tweaking is necessary.on the down side, the USB recording/playback operation is a little tricky to learn and use. if you are not recording, sometimes the USB drive gets disconnected when the unit goes into screen saver mode, ...but other than that, highly recommended.

Simply amazing mixer for any small band. I have Touchmix 16 that I have been using for about 5 years now. They have added some much to this mixer with firmware, it has more than everything. Presets, recording and everything works perfectly every time. I recommend this to anyone who wants a mixer they can use for years.

I've own this unit for almost 4 years now and although I've upgraded to a larger scaled console this is my 1st go to for getting the job done. I still haven't used all of the function and features yet. The only gripe is QSC not activating the ethernet port and making a stage box to use with their units other than that it's the best this cookin'.
