This is a simply powerful drill. The 5/8 inch chuck allows me to consider an even broader range of drill bit shank sizes.The rear D handle is adjustable 360 degrees. It does not lock in any position and others have stated that this is not desirable. I completely disagree. Quick math, using a 90% motor efficiency, shows that this drill is a 1-1/4 horsepower drill. If the D handle was in a fixed position and the bit got stuck, 1-1/4 hp is enough to sprain or break your wrist and hand. The lack of fixed positions on the D handle is a safety to reduce the chance of injury to the user. I think it is a great idea.

Like others, my first copy of this had unacceptable chuck runout. The second one was much better on that front, but the side handle was threaded a bit off (doesn't impact performance). For the on sale price it's at currently, I'll accept that since it's 25% less than offerings from team teal, red or yellow. Have used this to mix plaster, mortar and to run a hole saw. It's got plenty of power so watch out for your wrists!

Never send a boy to do a man’s job! Bought a cheaper drill and broke the plastic housing on it drilling holes with my 18” long 1” diameter electrical bits on my gazebo deck. Sent that boy back and bought this Bosch drill. Truly a man’s tool! Lesson learned.

My old drills used to be so heavy this is so light powerful I used it right away on the job very happy with this product
