I bought this about a month ago for recovery from an impending surgery where I would have to be upright for over two weeks and it's been priceless! Was worth the extra money - there are a lot of other similar pillow sets, but I noticed that with the less expensive sets, people were more likely to report that they moved around or that they didn't reinflate properly. I'm 5'2" and weigh 115 lbs, so it was plenty sturdy for me; it is fairly large which I am ok with. There may have been a slight odor from the fill when I first opened the packages (similar to foam beds), but it dissipated very quickly. I purchased it ahead of time in case I had a problem with it. I think it's a good balance of firmness - not too firm but firm enough to be supportive. What's nice is that it is versatile. I did not need the velcro straps because the pillows stayed put without them. I have a sleep number bed and the head and feet raise, but I actually found this to be just as comfortable and more adjustable. It comes with a large gel ice pack and the vacuum bags but I haven't used either yet.

Good quality however this wont work for anyone more than 200lbs

Well made and love that I can wash the covers. I recently had back surgery and this item really helped me to be more comfortable. Love the color and softness and the ability to create many different arrangements with the pieces.

I ordered this set to use after rotator cuff surgery. It basically saved my sanity and sleeping. Laying flat is not an option after that surgery and this pillow set was a game changer. I love how soft it is and supportive. I use all pieces including the wedge for under knees and the half circle pillow. It has grips on the side the cushion is on the bed so it doesn't move around when sleeping. Velcro is there to attach the pillow to the wedge but I have found I like being able to move the pillow around. I even used it on my leather couch and it worked just as good there as well. ! month after shoulder surgery, I had nasal and sinus surgery so I have been using this set every night for over a month! I even took it with us to a hotel stay so I wouldn't have a sleepless night. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the cost. It is a bit pricey but I feel it has been worthy every penny! If you need to sleep with. your head elevated, buy this immediately! You will not regret it!!!

I was a little skeptical as the packaging was truly suspect. However, I can't fault the quality. The material is soft and firm. You have flexibility in how you use the four pieces. I started with all four and due to my individual needs, I now use two or three.

Wedge pillow set is high quality.Perfect ammount of memory foam Pillows.Washable covers. Better Than expected. These have been used by us for cancer recovery, knee replacement surgery, and by friends from a serious leg trauma recovery

excellent for myomectomy and C-section recovery. HOWEVER, garbage durability. the material is flimsy and will tear after a few washes. the zippers are also too tiny and often catch on the material. I'd recommend you get this product, just not from this company

Updated Review:Immediately after posting the issue with my pillows, the seller reached out to me. He explained that Amazon stores the packages and they have no control over the packaging conditions. He offered to provide a full refund or ship me a new one from his facility for free. I was hesitant given the situation, but I am so glad I too him up on the offer.Not only was he kind and communicative, ensuring I knew the status of the shipping the entire time, the box and pillows arrived in pristine condition and I inspected it thoroughly.The pillows themselves are incredibly versatile and can be used in so many different positions to provide comfort after surgery and beyond recovery. I'm so glad I gave these pillows a second chance since the issue was at no fault of the seller and I greatly appreciate not only my new pillows but the incredible customer service. I am changing my rating to reflect the update and not my original experience.Previous Review:I purchased this pillow set because for recovery after surgery. The item arrived with BUGS on it. There are also suspicious spots that could potentially be bug eggs or bug defecation. I am appalled and concerned that the bugs could cause an infestation in my house. This is totally unacceptable and I am afraid to purchase another one for fear that it will come with bugs too.
