Verbatim DVD-RW Blank Discs 4.7GB 4X Recordable Discs - 30pk Spindle 95179

These discs are great for backing up large files, and downloading large files for transport to multiple devices for use. Erase and rewrite many, many times. I don't trust the cloud for storing data so I back it all up and these discs do a fantastic job.

Burn rate! Good. Coaster number? Food. Recording ability? Good. Picture quality! Haven't used it for that yet. Value? Very good. Should have got the non-rewriteable but these will do in a pinch

I've been using them for over 2 years now. I rotate through the pack for recording of TV shows that I desire to watch by time shifting. Then I erase them for future use. I believe that on some of them I probably have about 20 cycles of recording and erasing with no known problems or deteriation. Most of the recordings are in XP and SP for 1 and 2 hour recordings. On a few occassions, I've used the longer 3 and 4 hour modes for sports games, but there is too much quality deterioration of the recording. I can't say that the recording quality is any better or worse than competing brands but these seem to hold up better for repeated use. Although a few of the discs have developed permanent glitches in them, the vast majority remain problem free. I've noticed that a competing "memory" brand seems to start developing glitches after only a handfull of cycles. The only reason that I haven't given a 5 star review is that a few of the discs in the pack have developed glitches from repeated use. Thus for making a permanent recording, I would recommend using a new disc or one with minimal cycles in it.

The best there is! Had a bunch of DVD-R’s but moving VHS to DVD needed the RW feature. High quality images and easy to work with. Ready to buy another bunch!

The quality of this is almost flawless; I have purchased many of these. I've only had one or two bad discs and they were the kind of defect you want if you have to have one in that it wouldn't format from the get go (thus saving one from from having an important recording that won't finalize). The price is great as well, you get 30 in a spindle as opposed to 25 or less.I have tried several brands, including Memorex, Maxell, and others. The Maxell comes in second for quality, and the yellow color is good for color coding, however the price is very high, especially considering you only get 15 in a spindle of those. The Memorex version is OK but there are too many defective discs.To sum things up, I strongly recommend the Verbatim pictured above.

I used all of my old dvd's. I tried these tonight. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!When inserted the screen says, "Recording Error. Cannot Record On This Disc."I ordered two 30 disc sets, my return window closed a few days ago, so now what do I do?
