Nice and easy to use
Very nice easy to read digital display, makes it about as enjoyable as reading depths of tire tread can be. Worth the little money spent not have to use an older style.

★★★★★ Accurate, Easy to Use, and a Must-Have for Car Owners!
This electric tread depth finder is an absolute game changer for checking tire health at home. It’s super easy to use—even if you’re not a car expert. The digital display is clear and gives quick, accurate readings in seconds. I love how compact and lightweight it is, making it easy to keep in the glove box or toolbox. It’s helped me catch uneven tire wear early, which saved me money and added peace of mind on the road. For the price, it’s a great investment in safety and maintenance. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to keep their tires in check!

Eh.
I mean it’s super accurate but as a mechanic that uses 32nds, it’s pretty useless to gauge in green yellow or red. I’d say look elsewhere if you don’t want to have to convert every time.

Great tire depth guage
I recently looked rapt a set of used tires for my truck. The seller said the tires only had 500 mils on them. I measured them with this depth gauge and it saved me from making a costly mistake. Very accurate and user friendly.

Measures in decimals of an inch, not 32nds, and uses hard-to-find battery
Measures in decimals of an inch, not the standard 32nds of an inch that the entire tire industry uses to gauge tire wear, and uses a hard-to-find LH44 coin battery, plus the battery that came with it didn't work, so I had to spend $4 to buy 10 batteries I'll never use & wait a week to get them so I could test the gauge. Also the return requires you to print a label, affix a mailed battery warning (I took the battery out as it didn't work anyway) & provide your own padded mailing envelope.
