Amazing quality. Have had it for about 4 months not no rust issues in in Texas it’s hot an rains. Looks great on my expedition. Well worth it , watcha waiting for? It’s rough country! Original package. Will buy again.

For the money, I challenge you to find a better product elsewhere for the same purpose/intent. The shackle alone will cost about half this much at any local farm store. I’m sure its not the highest of quality, but for the purpose, its very suitable and I’d highly recommend it.

They are heavy duty and solid metal so they appear to be pretty strong. I ordered one for my side by side and one for my old suburban. Haven’t tried them out yet but like them so far.

I received this Shackle kit on Thursday just before leaving for an overlanding camping trip with my Jeep Gladiator and trailer. My intention for this kit was to remove my trailer hitch once I set up camp and install the shackle kit into the hitch receiver to provide an additional and more centered recovery point in the rear of the Jeep (other than the bumber hook that is standard on the driver side rear). Well out there on the trail Saturday .... I actually used it to recover another jeepster who got in over his head... literally! It was a good thing I had it along .... it worked great and it is high quality!

I installed a hitch receiver on my RZR thinking I'd like the ability to clear debris from the road, or to help drag me out of a jab if ever needed. This shackle is exactly what I needed, to be able to safely attach a pull strap.

Solid chunk of metal, comes with the pin and shackle. Seems like it would be impossible to make something similar at this price.

Cheap enough to buy for an emergency, even if you don't have a receiver. Definitely safer than tying off to a ball or some random part.
