Q: These pictures are of lobelia. Are you sure this is creeping thyme?

Don’t waste your money. They are not thyme .

Q: Planting instructions were not included in the package.. Do I sprinkle seeds on the ground or buru them??

Starting them indoors, in peat pots is best because you have more control. I agree with all of these answers but wanted to ad that the tray should be kept in a warm spot, 65 to 75 degrees. And get a clear cover for your tray, it will keep the moisture and heat in and your germination rate will go way up. I didn't count the little guys but I did 5 trays and I only had 4 covers. The tray without the cover had less than 50% of the number of germinated sprouts. Water the tray and not the plants. Keep it covered in a warm sunny spot and use a heating pad or electric blanket with a plastic sheet over the blanket.
